Man, we're on a roll! I can't wait to be in Chicago next weekend. The city is going to be electric! I really feel like we have a chance to put this thing away on this home stand. Not taking anything for granted though. Been burned too many times.

Getting tired of LaStellas bs. I believe they should have kept him and cut Coghlan, but he was the only one who had options and that's what the higher ups chose. NO ONE is bigger than the team. I think they need to tell this selfish ass, report to Iowa in 48 hrs or you are done.

I hope so. We are trying to win a championship. The last thing we need is bs distractions like this. No one is bigger than the team and the goals ahead.

I understand he only wants to play for the cubs, but fuck dude, odds are you would be on the playoff roster.

“I’m not going to go play for someone else. That’s not something I have any interest in doing. I’m here for a reason. This is where I want to be…I’m just waiting to hear back from the team and keeping up with all the workouts and training and hitting.”

You cant keep up with hitting when you aren't facing live pitching.

Yeah, I mean, I'd be a little perturbed if my .285 hitting ass got sent down to make room for a .150-something hitter. But fuck's sake, ride it out for a month and you'd be back up on the 40-man. Christ.

Yeah, I believe those releases about him are PR moves also. He's mad because Cogs was kept. Not that I disagree that we shouldn't have got Cogs back in the first place. But for real. What a whiner. Force him into retirement for this one.

If our biggest problem is dealing with an average utility player being pissed about being demoted, we're in fine shape.
