    For what it's worth, the emails for the NLDS went out on a Monday evening and the NLCS went out on a Wednesday late afternoon/early evening.

    Ok good, thought maybe I missed it. I'm already gonna be in Wrigleyville this weekend. To somehow pull tickets too would just be amazing.

    Go Cubbies, a Tiger fan, but rooting for the Cubs...I remember '84 and there was a lot anticipation and hope for a Tigers vs Cubs then, and I was really hoping the Tigers could have got in and advanced to the Series...but Cleveland vs Chicago should be good...

    Still cannot wipe this smile from off of my face. What a night! Immediately booked an Airbnb for Saturday night. If I miss the drawing again, it looks like Murphy's will be just as good. My uncles and grandfathers would have loved to see this.

    Someone was telling me that the bars around Wrigley were charging cover charges. Anyone know if this is true? Definitely down for Wrigleyville fun next weekend, just don't want to get arrested for piss in in an alley.

    I'll be there with my grandpa. If anyone wants to try to hold down a table and get some beers before, during, and after the games this weekend at Murphy's let me know. Hopefully we all get drawn for tickets and don't have to worry about it though!

    Yeah, it's true. A couple friends of mine were down there and said bars were charging $20 cover to get in at like 3pm. Wrigleyville is going to be a zoo this weekend.

    Yeah I'm not paying cover charges. Don't want my business, I'll go somewhere the fuck else. This is the dumbest business practice for a bar ever! Unless it is to actually see a show & pay the band, there's no need whatsoever for a god damn cover in a bar.

    I was wondering the same...could be more $$$ for world series games..they can basically name a price and those bars will pack it in.

    I think half of Chicago is going to try and be at murphys. It's unlikely (unless you spend the night at the front door) that you're getting g a table there.

    My dad and I turned down a couple of wrigley rooftop tickets. Price: $2500 for the pair. That's just insane. For a seat where you'll have to watch on the TV there anyway. I'll settle with Murphy's, barring the miracle it will take to win the drawing.

    Sounds good to me because we won't be able to be down in Wrigleyville until about 2. We'd definitely spring for some drinks.

    I have some Pearl Jam stickers for trade for any World Series tickets. The tickets would have to be lower level though if I'm going to be trading stickers. No upper deck stuff. Let me know. It may take me a while to reply to all the PM's so be patient.
