most corporations are fairly benign ... the big ones are brutal and are the primary causes of poverty, environmental degradation and trampling of human rights ...

in any case - it's unfortunate to see bernie endorse hilary ... it's almost like all that rhetoric was a marketing pitch ... that tweet from trump that likens his support to that of occupy supporting goldman sachs is spot on ...

Some of those are pretty brutal. Some are pretty funny, too.

Anyone who didn't see this coming were either neophytes or fooling themselves. Bernie and his supporters should be happy. They got some important changes to the platform. This country's 'change model' is incrementalism. The system is set up to prevent wholesale, radical change. Our checks and balances prevent it. On balance, that's a really good thing.

Oh and I like the one extolling anarcho-communism/socialism whatever the fuck that is. What a complete jack ass. He can go fuck himself in his communist state.

Today, Bernie Sanders will be endorsing one of the most pro-war, pro-wall street, and pro-off shoring candidates in the history of the Democratic Party. The candidate who ran against special interests is endorsing the candidate who embodies special interests. The candidate who ran against TPP is endorsing the candidate who helped draft the TPP. The candidate who ran in opposition to globalization is running against the candidate who has led the push for globalization. The candidate who warned that open borders destroy the working class is endorsing the candidate with the most open borders policy in our history. The candidate who wants to reform H1-B visas is endorsing the candidate who supported lifting the caps on H1-B visas. The candidate who wants less war is endorsing the candidate who launched wars in Iraq and Libya and would lead us to a new war in Syria. The candidate who wants to get money out of politics is voting for the candidate who has made a career out of making money from politics.

Bernie's endorsement becomes Exhibit A in our rigged system - the Democrat Party is disenfranchising its voters to benefit the select and privileged few

Only a short break to chime in here but this is exactly one of the reasons why I can't support either major party any longer. Bernie was the Democrats last hope and Trump is the Republicans last breath. They will both go down in flames along with the rest of us if we don't start pushing for leaders who will lead us away from extinction (or, if you really want to be cynical, push us there much quicker and give some of the other large fauna a fighting chance.)

I like this one. I wonder if a little birdie has recently told them the Sanders sold them out and to vote Hillary instead! http://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/12/

Brian, I also agree with you that if we do elect Drumpf, we get what we deserve. But, I still don't think he wants it enough to win, then govern for 4 years.

    Haha! Yep.

But what can a poor boy do 'cept to play in a rock and roll band?

Well only this: Another horse goes lame in the middle of the stream? New horse! Bernie had his chance and now cast his lot with HRC. No use crying. Move on.

I didn't agree that the mindless TV people will just mute and eat cheezy-poofs. Are you kidding? Trump's antics are exactly what those people live for! It's the ultimate reality TV show, featuring everyone's favorite reality TV celebrity. The uninformed voters are exactly who will eat this shit up and Trump knows it. That is why he is 100% playing to the lowest common denominator. He has a rapt audience in these people. And they love to vote for their favorite reality TV stars. You should see all the votes that they send into American Idol.

That's why trump is going to lose in record breaking fashion.
Yes... as long as the left doesn't split too much.
It's scary, the left is eager for revolution (in a totally pie-eyed an naive way IMO) and it is setting the stage for Trump to come way too close.
People are "not worried about Trump" as though the Bush years never happened.
Trump will not be president. You watch.
I hope you are right, but I'm not sitting back and leaving the dirty work for someone else to do, I am wading into the mire and voting for Clinton. You can thank me in November for saving your ass and doing your dirty work for you lol
