    Not long after, Monsignor Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo, chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences stepped in to dispute Archer’s statements. “I deny that. It was not that way," Sánchez Sorondo told Reuters. “This is not true and she knows it. I invited him with her consensus.”

    I don't know that much about Daily Beast. They're not really a major news network. Their name indicates that they are into being trendy (ho-hum). Are they in it to enlighten? To fool us? To fool themselves? To make money?

    In a nutshell, yes, I am a curmudgeon, a critical thinker, a skeptic, I hate capitalism, and I believe for profit news services all lie at least to some extent. But because I have a business, I'm also a capitalist by definition which means I'm also, to some extent, a hypocrite.

    But not Bernie. He's honest and forthright. So there you go. Vote for the honest guy. Vote for Bernie!

    It was THE NUMBER ONE worst burrito I ever made. (I cooked it so can't complain too much.)

    I say "ah, man". It's such a malleable phrase. It can be used to express relief, frustration, amazement, disappointment, joy, satisfaction or dissatisfaction, relief, trepidation and so forth. The all-inclusive salutation!

    I'm fairly certain EV (or individuals) will endorse or support whoever is carrying the D for the election. Just look at the shirt they made for the tour. Seems pretty clear...

    He hired her knowing her history and he looks like a coward for suspending her. He basically lost voters on both sides of the issue which isn't an easy thing to do.

    Missed the debate at the Brooklyn Navy Yard tonight due to working late but read the transcripts. Sounds like a tough battle. No real surprises as far as I can see.

    I genuinely don't understand how people can watch those debates. Every time I watch one I just get angry and start texting people in capital letters.
    I also hate the crowds at those things. Stop f%!@ing shouting and let them talk, or are you just afraid to hear the answers they give?

    The debate last night was similar to the others. I fell asleep a few times. Hillary refuses to release transcripts and also swears that she's that always been for the $15 minimum wage. So just more lies coming from her really. Bernie said he will release his tax returns. The crowd booed a few times, her rich funders were sitting in front, a lot of Bernie supporters sitting way back.

    I would have more respect for Hillary if she would stop the blatant lying.

    Primary debates are the worst. It's a contest to see who can further to the left or right and declare positions that cannot be enacted.

    General election debates are more tolerable.

    $353,000 to sit at a table with George Clooney? Well, George Clooney himself was
    asked on NBC whether that was an obscene amount of money, and here's what he said:

    "It is an obscene amount of money, the Sanders campaign when they talk about it is
    absolutely right. It's ridiculous that we have this kind of money in politics." -

    Here's the rest, with context:

    "I think the Clinton campaign has not been very good at explaining this and this is the truth: the overwhelming amount of money that we're raising, and it is a lot but the overwhelming amount of the money that we're raising, is not going to Hillary to run for President, it's going to the down ballot ticket,"

    He went on to explain that it was necessary today to combat the Koch Brothers in the general election. He said it was a necessary evil until a more favorable SC could overturn Citizens United.

    I'm personally not hopeful since we would need a different case to create standing for another chance at the ruling.
