Dang. Proud to be from Buffalo, which looks to be Bernie country....at the moment.

And although she's won, I'm seriously enjoying watching her lead dwindle as more numbers are coming in. Each tenth of a percent is widening my smile, even if it doesn't mean all that much.

Side note, why does she always dress like Pol fucking Pot?

Dammit, Earl. I've thought of Kim Jong Un but that fits too.

That's extra douchy coming from someone who compares one of the most genocidal killers in history to Hillary Clinton. Is there not enough dandruff on the Muppet?

That's your idea of extra "douchy?" You need to raise the bar, Ol' Russy.

remember Bernie supporters,Obama lost by 17% in the NY '08 primaries and continued on to crush her chance at the WH...Don't despair!!! Please...Bernie is a truly INCREDIBLE person and it's our time to finally have a great person leading this country. Keep the faith! Keep your head up. And when he makes it over here to Cali,he will crush her attempts again!

    From Robert Reich:
As I predicted, the mainstream media this morning are saying the race is essentially over. But so far, no article I’ve read about yesterday’s New York primary mentions that independents weren’t allowed to vote in it. Yet 42 percent of American voters are now independent, and only 29 percent are registered Democrats (26 percent are registered Republicans), and we can assume a similar distribution in New York. A significant portion of Bernie’s supporters across the nation are independent – for the obvious reason that Bernie’s candidacy takes on the establishment. In addition, most young voters are independent. Independents gave Bernie huge victories in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Washington, for example. And independents obviously will play a large role in any presidential election.

The inclusion of superdelegates and exclusion of independents from many Democratic primaries makes the Democratic Party far less democratic than many assumed. This is the prerogative of the Party, of course. But the mainstream media have a responsibility to let people know all this, for the purpose of assessing the significance of a given primary outcome.

It's definitely not over, Free. Bernie has been closing the gap here in California. We can do it. We're not throwing in the towel.

Does Reich think that this is some sort of super secret info? The mainstream media is keeping this info from us? This is presidential election politics 101. The parties have always controlled the nomination process. That's what they do. That's why they hold primaries and caucuses, backroom meetings with super deleages, and have national conventions. The parties decide who the nominees are, and then we vote for one of them in the general election. We may not like it, and it may be why we're always having to chose between dumb and dumber in the general elections, but that is the way it is and has been. If anyone is shocked by this process, it is because they didn't pay attention in 6th grade social studies class. I'd love to see it changed. I'd love to see better choices. But this is the two party system we live under and it isn't some mainstream media conspiracy against Bernie. It is an open, visible game being played against us, as has been the case forever.

Haha. Dude, you're pretty funny. In an almost annoyingly passive-aggressive and way-too-fucking serious kind of way.

I'm gonna let you have this one, though. My wife just gave birth to twins and life is great.

There's some irony to your statement of course. But congrats on your babies. Good luck.

Well said... and there's nothing stopping anyone from creating a third or fourth party. Remember we had whigs, know-nothings, Bull Moose, Federalist, anti-federalist, and more. Hasn't always been D and R. Not sure why Bernie hasn't spent the last 30 years trying to get more than one Democratic Socialist elected.
