One Guns n' Roses ticket cost me almost the same amt as all four PJ Fenway and Wrigley Shows

Disgusting...I kind of feel sick about it, but I was too young back in the day, and its something I've wanted to see for years.

The main point is that although from time to time, I see people complaining about the price of PJ tickets, I think we really need to be thankful to our boys and the 10C for keeping prices relatively reasonable over the past 10 years especially as TM and Live Nation have pushed ridiculous agendas. Thank god PJ doesn't do VIP garbage (for example GNR VIP Pit tickets in Seattle are $1900+ fees...PJ pit at wrigley is what? $85?), and that even in 2016, we can rely on them to provide us with some of the best seats in the house for only $20 a year.

Say what you want about the lottery, but at least we have a horse in the race.

And I thought tickets for Metallica at the new Vikings stadium were expensive...looks like a bargain now compared to GNR!

GNR is one of the most badass bands ever but wow this is their nest egg i guess. Theyre already getting record amounts to play Coachella

Cheaper to fly to Telluride, rent a car, pay for Ride Festival tickets, stay for 3 days, eat, drink, merch, etc then to see GnR in the 'VIP pit".

Plus PJ will play for an hour longer.

Gotta love TM too. S/C equals 38.4% of ticket price.

What are the odds that GnR even make it through this entire tour? Hopefully they have mellowed a little with age. If you are going to see them I suggest you catch one of the early gigs.

Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

GnR do 3 hour shows. At least they did 3 years ago when I saw them. And no Future Days and very little talking.

We should stop comparing. I love PJ but they are not GnR (for good and bad).

Exactly. I bought a ticket for $150. Not a bad seat for a stadium. If you like music you can get in for a good price. If you want to feel Axl's sweat that is gonna cost ya.

I would be interested in some bleeds for the Detroit show. Wonder if I could get my hands on a pair. Tix aren't on sale yet. Another week night show.
Oh please let it rain today.

Yeah GNR play shows as long as PJ. Maybe longer. those are prices just for the pit like others said. The rest are more reasonable

Nice to see them back. Who knows how long it will last but thats the danger in GNR that makes them great. They got along great last night

Wher? In the outer concourse with no view?
Not a fan club member and was not able to see 300 level ticket prices at The Clink. The prices I have seen aren't below $75.
I'd like to go, (only if it's with Slash and Duff) GnR was the band that took me away from horrible Top 40 music, but a part of me wonders if they will make it to August.

My tickets were 250/each and they were in the lower level about 2 sections away from the stage. Considering it's a stadium those aren't bad tickets, but they aren't first 15-20 rows on the floor kind of tickets either. I think floor/lower bowl is about 250, then it's 150, and the nosebleeds are 50.

By far the most expensive concert I've ever gone to but it's GNFNR! I agree with you though. Seattle is the 3rd last show of the tour. I hope it doesn't implode before then :)

Will Axl be on time or will he do his 3 hour late thing.

floors are i believe 700.00. or 800.00 totally ridiculous.250.00 to sit in the stands far from the stage no thanks. sound is bad in these large stadiums usually. usually echoey. saw them in 1990. not paying for this. if people really buy all these seats watch what really starts to happen to ticket prices in general for a major act. the promoters will realize they can do this with regularity. lot of suckers out there. 1800.00 for a pit ticket. absolutely mind blowing. rationalize it any way you want but i personally want no part of this. if i ever hear any more complaints about cost for this club or tickets or lottery etc. please refer to g and r and realize how good we have it here and stop all the complaints.

saw david gilmour on thursday night. you know the guy from pink floyd. biggest band possibly ever. 183.00 per ticket. think about that for a moment.

I bought my tickets for MA. Yes they were expensive but I only need to see them once and I can't wait. $280 for 5th row behind pit. Fat Axl or not I'm pretty sure the show will kill. Appetite IMO is one of the best Rock albums ever and probably the best for my generation...

Like Izzy Stradlin, I don't want any part in these sha na na na nanigans. He's the only one with any common sense in this whole thing. He knows it's gonna melt and there's gonna be a ton of unhappy people. But who knows really. Typical narcissistic Axl to make Slash play the Chinese Democracy stuff. Slash sold out for the big bucks. But it's

Let's not blow things out of proportion. Floor right behind the very small pot was $255 plus TM fees. The super duper expensive floor were VIP packages

Again, VIP package. There's a difference between a pit ticket being $1,800 vs a VIP package being $1,800 with that being the only way to get into the pit.

Just to be clear, I think the prices are mind boggling too but really no need to spread misinformation.

Alice In Chains is opening. I have seen them a couple of times and they are solid.

Slash was playing casinos with his own band. Axl was playing to huge crowds worldwide but only sub 10,000 seat places in the US. I dont think either one minds compromising a little bit.

    They'll be interesting if anything.

Yeah I saw Slash and The Conspirators thrice for $40-$50 a ticket from less than 100 feet away everytime. Slash just kicks ass in general! I love those smaller club kind of shows. It'll be interesting to see how it goes.

Kings of Chaos was playing stadiums I think. But yea. Definitely nice pay day for all involved ;)

Edit: heh. Maybe I was mistaken about the stadiums.

There is an entitlement that people think they should be able to get great seats for cheap. Life doesn't always work that way. Sometimes paying $50 gets you what you pay for (a nosebleed seat).

    Et tu, gambo?!

Though those ticket prices are pretty damn expensive. There are maybe one or two artists/bands I'd even consider going that high for.

To me it comes down to how badly I need to see a particular band , I'm paying $225 for a ticket in the 200 level for Radiohead @ MSG but I would not spend a dime for GnR ..
