Trump mentioned something about getting an audit of the federal reserve. Someone tell him that auditing the Fed is fastest way for him to be put in the crosshairs.0

Can anyone explain why a candidate should disavow a registered voters "support"?
I don't understand wh in a "fee and fair democracy" someone needs to answer why someone else supports them?
Serious question. Help?
To me it's like asking someone to read a person's mind and explain it then explain why you are or are not okay with it.0 -
and you guy's wonder why threads get shut down ? do any of you understand what reasonable debate means ? good grief !

the same reason certain musicians do not allow certain politicians to use their music. the musician does not want their name associated with that politician's message. trump should not want his good name associated with david duke. he should reject duke's endorsement, because if he doesn't it makes him look like he is actively courting the votes of duke's supporters. he actually is, so he will not disavow this endorsement.JC29856 said:Can anyone explain why a candidate should disavow a registered voters "support"?

No way not buying your analogy. It would be the equivalent to someone saying publicly I like pearl jam, I support that band and their causes.gimmesometruth27 said:

If Charles Manson says I like PJ, I buy all there records, listen to them constantly and hope they get inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Manson is allowed to like PJ. I don't expect PJ to be called out to disavow him.

The only reason is optics. It doesn't look good for any candidate to have the KKK endorsing them, and people want Trump to reject that support. But the ugly, blunt truth is that in this free country of ours even disgusting racist shitheads have the right to vote.___________________________________________

david duke is telling people to vote for trump because trump will serve his agenda. he is not telling people to go buy some tasty vinyl.JC29856 said:

That's bold talk coming from you. You practically haven't ever backed up any stance you've taken. You don't even know what reasonable debate is.Godfather. said:and you guy's wonder why threads get shut down ? do any of you understand what reasonable debate means ? good grief !
Godfather.
The other thread was closed because YOU were bashing on the first lady with inappropriate remarks that you refused to stand behind with reasonable debate.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
Duke endorsed Trump and Trump knows the guy real well but wanted those hate filled votes so waffled on rejecting endorsement. Very simple really.JC29856 said:

I'm pissed at Christie. Fallen so far so fast that he he grabbing onto Trump? Really?
Now trump has some good things to say about issues where the Republican Party really does need to change, but he's only about 10% correct and even when he is correct he is a jerk.
I never really understood the need for candidates or people to disavow. Pretty stupid in my mind. Just state your opinion on issues. Disavowing is just a media gotcha game built for the sound byte world we helped create.hippiemom = goodness0
