    Kinda like the satchel thing but that's $89 worth of Patagonia that would get chucked in my attic and found by the next family who moves in. Happy to save the cash.

    Perhaps what is being lost here is that the cost of this backpack isnt far off of what these sell from from Patagonia. These are incredible packs for campers, hikers, or adventures. They are high quality and will last a long time. Anyone who uses Patagonia items this regularly will know its not a bad price.

    ^^^word.^^^ I think I'm in the minority in that I like the backpack. The messenger bag...not so much as I don't have much use for it. Big picture-wise, these are both quality goods and creative ways of offering a different spin on merch to a ravenous fanbase who are saturated w/ t-shirts and the other standard fare.

    people have shouted out for more bags for some time, especially the laptop one....sure there will be many happy folks today

    I can resist......the laptop bag is the tempting one in my eyes. But given I don't own a laptop and don't carry a bag, id be buying it for no other reason than I am a Class A hoarder....and with a tour on the horizon......
