If for any reason, I were to strap a backpack on my back, and turn around and say to my wife, "Ok honey, lets go".

She would 1st laugh her fucking ass off.
Then 2nd, we would refuse to be seen with me.
If I insisted on wearing my Pearl Jam backpack, she would then file for divorce.

Must be a location thing. I'm in NYC and backpacks are common.

Why on earth would a grown adult buy a sheep figurine? At least you can use a backpack. I have stopped trying to figure out other people's taste and just worry about my own. I bet these back packs look a lot better when they are sold out.

i use them for work (I'm in IT). I also use them for weekend concert trips. I would think this would fit nicely in the overhead compartment.

Hey...wait a minute... Why would a 30-50 year adult collect stickers, pins, Star Wars action figures, concert posters, lol

i use a backpack everyday for work and need a place for my laptop. My current one is in its last leg. So tough to pass on this.

Why would a 30-50 yo adult go ape shit for a poster with transformers on it? (Though I'm so happy to get one finally).

How much were the PJ20 backpacks when they went on sale?

A lot less. I wanna say something like $70-80. Who knew the fair market value on backpacks would increase over 50% in 4 years? ;)
I think they were $89, which is the price of the refugio bad at patagonia's site. These new bags are probably made of a more expensive material, so they cost more. I think the PJ bags were the same prices as the non- PJ bags.

    new ones: http://www.patagonia.com/us/product/black-hole-pack-25-liters?p=49296-0
    PJ20s: http://www.patagonia.com/us/product/refugio-pack-28-liters?p=47911-0
They were less than $89 when they came out in 2011... And I think they PJ bags were actually LESS than the ones that Patagonia sold on line... not much but by a few bucks. Someone said $65, that sounds right before shipping.

I use a backpack whenever I travel, and also on outings like to the park, zoo, etc (yes I am a dad). The thing is I don't know if I need a backpack that says PEARL JAM on it all big, since I'd probably be wearing a Pearl Jam hat or shirt at the same time... And I could use the laptop bag for work, but again, don't need to show up every day with Pearl Jam right on there... still debating ordering that one. The best bag they sold was the original laptop bag in 2003... kills me that I didn't buy one cause I thought $50 was too much at the time.

Tool hasn't released an album in over 10 years and they sell quilts for $200 or $300 on their website. So count your blessings and mind your manners.
