Why don't people post links or screengrabs to the FB group? A lot of people saying stuff without attribution makes it hard to decide if I should go down there soon on my lunch break.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no, not worth it

WTF is with that Hale print??

The show isn't in Austin, TX my man. :perturbed:

Seriously...I was thinking the same thing. What a disappointment.
It's bizarre. Total and compete miss. He must have submitted the wrong image and they were just like, "fuck it", people will buy it.

  • You can buy the shirts for 30% off on Ebay in a month or two.
  • Took me a half hour to get in, and the only shirts they have are S or XXXL. Leaving empty handed.....

Ouch....the merchandise craze is getting out of hand. First thing I thought of when I saw there were 4 posters for the show was they do it because they know people will just buy everything they put out.

Someone just posted on one of the FB groups that all men's shirts in L and hats sold out for the day in 23 minutes...I assume they'd get more in stock later in the day, but that sounds pretty nuts!

It was probably less than that... I opted to get the posters today and try for the tshirt some other day. The guys at the store said they would restock until tomorrow... I honestly believe they might restock later in the day.

Most importantly: are there good eats around the store?

I know Lombardi's is a few blocks away... famous pizzeria
Lomardi's is OK; I would opt for Di Fara's in Brooklyn but it's far from Manhattan. Still in Brooklyn, I believe both Juliana's and Grimaldi's are way better than Lombardi's.

In the area, Balthazar is good; bunch of decent eateries in Soho, Noho, Nolita, Chinatown and Little Italy, all walking distance.

  • If I was local and had nothing better to do I would check in later in the day. You hear about things selling out and then magically it is restocked in a few hours.
