70 consecutive PU is nothing to joke about.Thats awesome speedy.For a change of pace have you ever used a deck of cards for PU count.Fun to add into your routine.You can do it with friends.
And tomorrow I join the health club down the street. The place is brand spanking new, and its only $9.95 a month. I am ONLY using it for the pool. I am so thrilled I can start my lap swimming again.

So in the last week, my 3rd week, I gave myself an extra day off between day 2 and day 3. Big Bonus! Instead of just one days rest between each day, I gave myself an extra day going into that 3rd day. Smart move on my part. Made things a lot easier.

Just sticking to the workout. Not 97 consecutively.
Me too speedy. Sticking to the program. Today I did 50 with rest breaks. Yesterday was upper body and core day with weights so I'm kind of surprised I made it today. I'm getting down lower too. :-) my 7 yr old son was inspired to join me. I think he could do push ups all day. Youth.

I just finished week 2. went from a max 11 to max 20. I am just barely keeping pace....that last repetition where you max out I'm lucky to make minimum.
The worst of times..they don't phase me, even if I look and act really crazy.

Ill finish up week 4 this Friday or Saturday. Ive had the same problem the last few workouts...As far as being able to do that MAX set at the end.
What I do to compensate? I will wait 60-120 seconds and just do another set of my MAX. I do that other set, and I don't feel guilty about not hitting my MAX the 1st time around. Also, I have been giving myself 2 days rest between workouts.

OK I'm in. Got 15 solid ones in and didn't count the couple cheap ones I tried to sneak in at the end. I can really feel that 35 lbs I've gained the last couple years.

I'm near the same spot your are in the workout and that last set is killing me too! I just take a short break and finish out that last set. Its tough but I like feeling the burn the rest of the day! I'm looking forward to increasing my total in the coming weeks!

Its definitely going to take me a little longer than 6 weeks. Once I realized you have to take "max tests" after weeks 4 and 5, I knew I wasn't going to finish this in 6 weeks. Plus like I said earlier, I started to give myself a little more time between workouts.
