Anyone seeing any noticeable body composition changes?I would think after a month some nice tri,pec and front delt changes should happening for you.

    Chest, arms, shoulders....
    All looking a little tighter.
    Especially my chest.

Push ups alone speedy? Or are you mixing in other exercises either with weights,or body weight sets like Dips and planks?
Great job with this program. It seems like you're pretty fired up.
    Dips?
    Planks?
    Weights?

I am a 50 year old man who is trying to maybe add a year or 2 on to my life...Hahahaha

Actually I am doing some cardio with the exercise bike, and I was supposed to start swimming this week, until they changed up my work schedule. But I will be back on my normal schedule next week.....So let the swimming begin!

Hey Speedy, after this thing you're doing you should try P90X. I've done it twice and it's a fantastic program! You don't need much equipment (just some free weights or bands and a pull up bar). I was skeptical when i first started it, but man...it's a hell of a workout!
I'd send you my DVDs, but mamasan23 currently has them.

If your going to stationary bike for cardio, you should really try to find a cool spin class. Its a lot of fun and a great workout.

I think I strained an abdomen muscle my first week.
Now that I am on week 4 its starting to mess with me.
I only got 25 on my week 4 test, am going to retake week 4 increasing each rep a couple.
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

I just started week 3 and I didn't think I could get the max at the end but I finished with 3 more than the minimum which was great! I really like the program and I'm looking forward to getting stronger in the next few weeks.

Speedy got a good add on for you if you are feeling a little frisky.

Try super setting your push ups with set of deep air squats. So 25 push ups then up and squat deep ( (Body weight only)using good form for 20/25 reps then back to push ups and repeat until your target number is achieved.100 or 150 reps of both but in sets of 10 to 25.
    It's an ass kicker.

So I will start `week six on Saturday.
With the "Max Tests" after weeks 2-4-5, this has taken a little longer. But all is well.
I have struggled through week 5, when it comes down to that final set, but I have added a set or 2 to try to make up for it. Week 6 looks to be a "ball buster."

When I am ready to take my final test, I am thinking I will realistically be able to do 50-65.
    And I will be thrilled.

I did the "max test" for the beginning of week 6 today.
51 was the minimum for me to move on....

I did 51, but lets just say the last 5 were not all that perfect. Your husband would not have approved of my form. Hahahahaha

    3 more workouts for me.

And since I wasn't happy with those last 5, I waited 2 minutes and did 20 more.

No way in hell will I do 100 straight pushups by next week. But I am confidant I will do 50-60.
    Pretty damned cool.
