    It's going to take me a looooong time. Months and months. However... Tonight I was wearing a sleevless shirt around the house and my little daughter tells me that my arms are looking more muscular. My push ups coach (to whom I'm also married) is appreciative of the newly defined biceps and deltoids too. Nice. :blush:

    Just completed week 4. Still in column 1. I did 80 push-ups in 15 minutes with my rest breaks a bit extended. I maxed out at 20 in last set. Who woulda thought?

    I did the week 5 workout yesterday...Day 2
    Then an hour later...I repeated the workout...

    I need some advil.

    I guess I'm finished with the workout.
    I'm just going to keep doing 130-150 every other day.

    I'm telling Ya Speedy,mix in and superset deep air squats and or lunges.Its a beeatch.

    It sounds to me like you are ready for a bigger workout. The best I have ever done is what we used to do in the Marines to kill time when bored (I was in during peace time so lots of unused time during the day). You need a pullup bar around or can just use the top of the door jam. Do a 60 second set of pushups (as many as you can do as fast as you can), move to a max set of pullups and then move immediately to a 60 second max set of crunches. Take a small breather and then repeat again. You go through a few rounds and you won't be able to feel your arms/abs.

    reboot.
    I took 2 weeks off, and now I can do pushups without feeling like my small intestine is falling out of my gut.
    The worst of times..they don't phase me,
    even if I look and act really crazy.

    So I also took a couple weeks off, and started up again.
    But instead of doing 11, and thinking I was headed directly to the E.R., like the 1st day, the 1st time around.

    I did 140

    Going for another 6 week workout.

    At least you started again! I sprained my wrist (playing basketball) and had to take a few weeks off. Started again and it feels so much more difficult than before.

    This 1st week has been SO MUCH easier, for me.
    After not doing any for a month, I figured it would be a disaster.
    But it has been much easier than I had thought.
    Though I am sure by week 3-4, I will be bitching and moaning. Hahaha

    Well, I started this nonsense again.
    I will finish week 1 on Saturday.
    I also moved on to the most difficult of the 3 options.

    I have a feeling by week 3 this will be a struggle.
    But oh well.
