Well, there have been instances that seem to prove that they at least get notified of certain things happening on here, so I think it might be very well possible that they know of this little petition. Plus, I started this thread in February 2011, so it has been on here for a while. And I intend to keep it going. It doesn't hurt anyonePlease, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0

You sure are persistent, Leez. I hope they do this. Or maybe do a similar show this year and release that...we need more special shows on vinyl. I'm new to vinyl and most of this stuff is way out of my budget.0

I have other PJ shows on vinyl and they are all awesome. This one, however, is very special because it is not a normal show, but rather acoustic. And the song selection is excellent. I have listened to it so many times and it never gets old. I love it more than any other shows.Post edited by Leezestarr313 onPlease, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0

I really wish they reissue this again on vinyl. What a great album, and my CD was stolen in Hawaii. Definitely not any aloha with that!0

Partly why I just sold a huge chunk of my PJ bootleg collection. The cds are just sat there. I've copied them to my laptop and played them. Then they just sit on the shelf collecting dust. Some I've not even checked because I ended up with download links before the cds arrived from Nugs.
I really don't get why people buy vinyl and never open it. Each to their own I guess.
With Hi-res digital now though, I could buy one copy, then buy the 24bit/192kHz file and have the best of both worlds. The collectible sealed vinyl, and the 'superior' sound of the digital file.
There is only a few records that I only have one copy of and it stays sealed. Binaural and RVM, I bought them sealed and just can't get myself to open them. The rest of PJ, I have at least one that is open.0 -
I admit sometimes when I got something like the white Backspacer or the Coke Bottle Ten, I was tempted at first to leave it closed, but that lasted only a very short time. Once I ripped the foil open, these records became mine and served the purpose I was buying them for - to listen to them. I don't know how anybody can sit still and not stare at the package of a Benny and be tempted to rip it open to see that gorgeous wine coloured vinyl and put it on and let the room, the air and the heart be filled with those magical, warm, soothing, feel good sounds...
But yeah, to each their own. I should ever get a Benaroya Hall vinyl into my hands, the shrink will come right off as soon as I am close to a record player. I will cherish it forever and give it a spin at least once every week (after the first rush has worn off hehe). Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -

I imagine that some people didn't have a record player when they bought it and when it became so valuable they kept it sealedPJ:

I can see that. It just makes me sad. It is a weird mind set, at least to me. Like the people who leave plastic covers on their sofa so it doesn't get worn. Or like my odd grandpa who wanted us to wear house shoes at his car. Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0

And where are the boxless promos hiding? I wonder how many more are out there, or rotting away in basements with water damage. Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0

Yes, now could be "later"
no time to be void or save up on life, you got to spend it all ... (well, except a grand for a vinyl album, because you kind of have to eat and pay the bills too, right?)
