Maybe he had to sell it to afford May? I hear that's an awful month for him between Kentucky and Indianapolis. #RazzingYaBuddy
To be honest, I REALLY have no desire to own a Benny on vinyl... especially at the current market price!! I've bought cars for less money than that. The audio feedback in "Man of the Hour" has always bothered me, and while I do enjoy this recording, it's really not one of my favorites!! All that being said, IF there is a re-issue of this show on vinyl at a decent price, I'd consider picking one up!!

Oh well, one song with a screech. I get goosebumps when the whole thing even just begins And I hear "Alright, nice place you got here", I'm all in. I think maybe I love this one so much because of my "PJ history". I loved them in the beginning, then explored different musical (and other) territories abd found my way back to them in about 2009. Then I had the full catalogue and all the bootlegs to listen my way through. I discovered new songs that I never heard before every day for a while. And I started with the live recordings. For a while I only listened to live recordings. Only much later did I come around to go through the studio albums. And even now some of the studio versions still seem odd to me because I heard a live version first. I think I discovered the Benny pretty early on after I came back. So there you go. This might be why I feel such a special connection to it. To me, this is not about the collector value. I would love this album on vinyl, so I can spin myself into musical heavens
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

April 1, 2015- Pearl Jam, the fathers of the “Grunge” scene, plan to reissue one of their most popular concert recordings as part of their vinyl only Vault series. The original release in 2004 of “Live at Benaroya Hall” was limited to a small number of vinyl pressings available only through the band’s 10Club fan club. The intimate show at the historic Seattle theater featured Pearl Jam performing in an acoustic setting and the subsequent audio document has become a much sought after collector’s item. A quick glance of auction sites such as Ebay show the original pressings fetching as much as $2000. There has been speculation for some time that Pearl Jam would re-issue the album with proceeds going to the MusiCares charity- the original beneficiary of the proceeds from the concert. No date has been set for the release yet, but unofficial fan club spokesman PJ_Soul recently posted on the message board that it would be available to pre-order thru the 10Club before the end of the year.

Yeah, I can agree with that. "..and the road...the old man paved..." There's enough screech in there for an entire season of Saved By The Bell! I imagine that screen during every time I hear that song.
But that's not the worst I heard! Give the Las Vegas 10th Anniversary version of Wishlist a listen. My first time hearing that version was with headphones. Whoever that is with the lungs? Well done!
Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"
Have a great long weekend, and happy spring break, deadend! I just finished work for today, and I won't have a long weekend, but I'm slowly filling the Benny fund on my way...
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!
instead of a Benaroya Hall reissue or Benaroya Hall 2015 part deux with a 40 song setlist, I will take the latter, now that would be a vinyl to have, hopefully they make it into a DVD as well if they ever play there again

(And we've talked, MOTHour makes me cringe in the Benny recording. I'm convinced that's why I'm not a fan of the song. I always hear that screech!)
