    Brown threatened the officer and the officer over reacted and shot him. Both at fault. The officer should be removed from force and pay restitution and year in jail for his mis judgement. Feel Wilson at one point during incident felt his life was in jeopardy and though it then deescalated understand his heightened emotional state. Brown rolled the dice fkn with a cop and lost.

    I doubt he serves a day in jail.

    Buckle up Boys and girls…NOV 10 is when they will be announcing the Grand Jury verdict of No Civil Rights Violation. Numerous reason why they chose this date, but the biggest being colder weather. The "Locals" don't take too kindly to colder weather in them parts to due what they do, so they have been delaying it for over a month now. There will be numerous restrictions on entering Ferguson w/ the National Guard on hand checking ID's for residency. So beware of your surroundings and where you will be on that date for obvious reasons…No matter what city you live in.

    What? Wilson is the defendant, I'm referring to his testimony.
    Defendants rarely testify at their own grand jury hearings.

    Wow, I haven't seen footage of that in years. I wish I had a camera on me when I worked the west side of Chicago when Obama won the first time around. You would have thought he lost. Mayor Daley did not allow the media in the ghettos to film the behavior of its residents. No pictures in the paper and if you wrote a story about it in your rag you would be ostracized. Typical Chicago way stuff.

    National Guard moving into Ferguson today, ruling coming Monday most likely... As I was saying in my earlier posts watch your surroundings Tomr., no matter where you will be. So sad govt has to waste so much manpower and $ to help keep a certain element from buring their own town down. Makes no sence.

    I don't know about where you are from, but in my neck of the woods "certain element" is the phrase racist people use when they are in polite company and don't want to drop the "N" word.

    I don't "hang out" with racists ever, but they enter into my life frequently as I live in a rural area. My wife had a patient a few months ago who told her Jersey used to be nice until a "certain element" (blacks) moved in. A Walmart checkout lady making casual conversation said they didn't used to get so busy until a "certain element" (Guatemalans) populated the area. A furnace repairman told me he doesn't like doing service calls in Sugarcreek because of the "element" (Amish) out that way.

    I didn't read 'certain element' as anything other than what was more than likely intended- a group of idiots acting like assholes because they think they have an excuse to.

    This 'certain element' displayed itself in Vancouver a few years back and it was predominantly white people for those keeping score of color of people within 'certain elements'.

    Anybody that takes to turning cars over, looting stores, and acting like an asshole is exactly that... an asshole. These assholes can be white, black, brown, purple, or indigo for all I care- it doesn't change the fact they are assholes acting badly.

    I hope things don't get too ugly. It would be so refreshing to see something other than what we have come to expect.

    So I was wrong about last monday being the day the Grand Jury announcing their decision. I feel it was weather related, but now with the artic blast the Midwest is currently feeling, today and tomr are looking like the day. All police in Shitcago are on call and my days off were cancelled for obvious reasons. Be aware of your surroundings this week kiddies.
