STOP! STOP IT!
To use a metaphor "share the doll"…
Seriously, please be kind to each other and enough.
Let's have some positive input like there has been.
There has been so many good points on this thread and don't want to see it shut down.
I do know that 10C kind of let's each other police ourselves on certain occasions, as the previous Pop ups and they expect us, I would think, to have a higher standard.
Crazy talk?

Not at all. Be kind. Make points. Discuss. Have differing opinions. Be respectful. Don't be nasty.tempo_n_groove said:STOP! STOP IT!

Not crazy talk, but it does seem more and more like the fans aren't doing such a good job of policing themselves - sad but true. I mean, it is a minority that does things to kind of screw others over, but enough to really shake things up for everyone. I just don't like seeing a small number of people's actions negatively affecting the whole. When that is going on, I feel like something should be done to stop it, and only 10c is in a position to do that. I know we're just talking about merch here and not anything that really matters, but the small pleasures in life mean something too, and it sucks to see that those pleasures are being taken from people because greed or selfishness. It's really the principle of it rather than the actual results. Hell, i don't even collect stickers. But this bugs me.tempo_n_groove said:STOP! STOP IT!

I think he meant he had an issue with having it be one of the only ways to make sure he got them, not the actual act of having to ask someone for a favor. That's how I interpreted it.whofeelslikeadrank said:

I have a problem with having to ask for a favor because I can't get to a concert nine hours early. I can understand if I am not going to the show at all. When arriving at 4:00pm the day of show isn't early enough to get a sticker there is a problem. I don't think we have had shows like Cinci or St Louis where you couldn't get stickers inside the venue.whofeelslikeadrank said:

Pretty soon sticker to = Benny??? WTF. It's a sticker. Big deal. Just download or have someone send you a picture of it, print it out on some kind of sticker paper (or glue it or use double sided tape), put it wherever you want.Post edited by PP193448 on2006 Clev,Pitt; 2008 NY MSGx2; 2010 Columbus; 2012 Missoula; 2013 Phoenix,Vancouver,Seattle; 2014 Cincy; 2016 Lex, Wrigley 1&2; 2018 Wrigley 1&2; 2022 Louisville0

I really hope not.
If stickers become bennys we are all doomed!

Better stop my son from hoarding all the stickers in preschool. I think that's where all of it starts...
Those teachers have too much supply, and those kids always with demand for stickers.Post edited by PP193448 on2006 Clev,Pitt; 2008 NY MSGx2; 2010 Columbus; 2012 Missoula; 2013 Phoenix,Vancouver,Seattle; 2014 Cincy; 2016 Lex, Wrigley 1&2; 2018 Wrigley 1&2; 2022 Louisville0 -
No, but thank you if offering. Already traded for Cinci and luckily got one from St. Louis from a friend who knows I like stickers.whofeelslikeadrank said:

No, it is just festivals aren't the popular shows that a ton travel for. If you can only go to a few shows you wi pick the 34 song set list over the one with 27.ComeToTX said:Seems like a Midwestern thing. Acl stuff all still available. Dallas and okc stuff I bought right before showtime last year.
It isn't a coincidence that the festival stickers are most in demand because there aren't as many hardcore PJ fans there to buy them and trade/sell.0 -
Thanks to people like ss9981 and bootlegger. Without these types of forum mates I would not get the item that appeals to me. They save me spending a shit load on ebay to those 2 sellers that just seem to have ample stickers and buttons from every show from every tour. Sometimes because of where I live I have to resort to eBay. Massive difference for buying many to help forum members out versus the ones who buy to fund trips and when they have 50 listed on eBay at one time still have no compassion. My views. Later

Show stickers were new in 2013. More people have caught on. That is my opinion at least. I don't think it is a city specific issue as I would bet most people that are buying stickers at 1pm at a booth are from out of town and the people in town are still at work.ComeToTX said:

People have now realized that there is money to be made purchasing stickers in bulk and that the rabid PJ fan base will pay a premium for stickers.
