    The concert at Wachovia arena was my first REAL concert....I only saw a couple bands play at a small venue before this....and I have got to say I was literally blown away. It was everything I could have ever wanted, really what dreams are made of. I promised myself that my first concert would have to be Pearl Jam, and nothing less.

    I was hoping that they would open with wash or release, and I got my wish....yellow ledbetter is one of my favorites that brings back alot of memories, so it was a great choice for closing. It has been a longtime wish of mine to see Pearl Jam live, and I now feel fufilled. It was beautiful. I get emotional just thinking about it.

    Ed looked gorgeous as ever, glad to see him with his hair longer like it used to be....unfortunately I was in club box 10, would have loved to have been closer to the stage, but I met some really great people from South Jersey, one of which had a Who hankerchief signed by Ed before the show (so lucky!)...and sung along to every song that I knew the words to. Many moments of "chills up the spine". Couldn't ask for anything more....we paid $5 for binoculars and I am glad we did....almost felt as if I was right there in front of them, even though I know I wasn't. I am now addicted for sure, nothing compares to seeing them LIVE!!!Can't wait to see them again!!! THANK U PEARL JAM!!!!!

    understood and agreed. however, the band was in a very festive mood and it showed. the crowd was either stunned by what was being played or oblivious b/c they were waiting for Daughter but listening to a song that probably sounded like 'A Crowd of Whores' …

    I tend to think the crowd was stunned by what they were hearing.

    this setlist was legendary. nothing even comes close. heck, I even had the perfect beer break opportunity when they decided to play, yet again my fav (not), Even Flow.

    CRAZY AS HELL CONCERT!!

    kick ass show.. awesome wash opening and great songs they did.. Played alot of vitalogy which kicked ass... THe man Trio songs were awesome (leather,better,nothing) ... Crazy Mary was my favorite part of the concert.. I love the song and when the mic or watever got screwed up was awesome then when vedder passed his wine out to the front rows was kick ass!

    Im posting a little late but i have to say this concert goes into my top 3 of all time pj shows. The energy was amazing,more so than Borgata i believe.
    I had 7th row on mike's side {thanks 10 club} and it seemed to me like the band and all the people around me where up for a great show getting behind every song. I was also fortunate enough earlier in the day to win the xmas single autographed by the band for the Katrina relief benefit which almost made me shit. lol The only thing that could have made the night better would have been to get Ed;s harmonica or tamborine,but im not complaining. Just a great experience all around!!

    I was also at the Philly show. I've seen the band 4 times and this one topped them all. My seats were behind the stage but this was the closest I've ever been. How awesome of them to come to the back of the stage and play for us. That was a great moment. And so cool to finally see them up close.

    I have to agree with this. :)

    I was amazed at how much Mike McCready was jumping around. They have a lot of energy. 3 hours for 48 bucks. Well you can't find that anywhere else.

    It was truly a great night. I'm still on a high from it. And I'm now listeing to WYSP here in Philly playing the show back.

    I gather that Eddie likes to play the Spectrum. That's also my favorite venue here.

    Everyone keeps pointing out random sections that seemed kind of lackluster, but from towards the back of the arena, it looked like that place was going insane.

    The place was going insane. There were a couple covers they played that some didn't seem to know. I admit there were 3 songs I think were covers I haven't heard before but I pretended to know them. :D

    dam that lucky chick corin from sleater-kinney, its not everyday you get to dosey-do with ed....what a show!! 'hard to imagine' into 'crown of thorns' into 'crazy mary'...i loved it!

    My 19th show and this one ranks Number One! Possible because I drove 15 hours to Boston III by myself and sat in the cold and mist for a few hours before the show started, all the while knowing something was wrong with my car (turns out the transmission was busted, no Hershey show because of that).

    Anyway, my 4th show in Philly (Spectrum, 2 Camden '03). There's just something about Philadelphia that makes me want to come back every time Pearl Jam plays there. Also love the history in that city. Can't get enough of it.

    I said last week on this board that Philly deserved their "Classic" show, like MSG I '03 and Boston III. Well, Pearl Jam delivered big time. Fans were amazing! Awesome Betterman sing-a-long. You could tell the band really loved it. Awesome setlist. Heard a ton of songs I'll probably never hear again. 11th row seats were great. Thanks Ten Club!

    I am with you... I drove straight to school from the airport... right back into the daily grind just like that... totally depressing.

    Im always very sad when it comes to an end. Their is not another band that i cant wait to return like this one. 2006 and the new album cant come fast enough.

    There's no better way to describe it LBC226 and sadprof....just totally bummed!!!!! It's so true...I always feel this way when PJ is over! It takes me a few days to get back into the swing of every day life....I hate this feeling!

    At least we know there is good stuff on the horizon... its not like the usual post tour blues where it could be a long time before they come around again...
