Can anybody help with a couple of questons about Amsterdam tickets please ?

    1. Like a lot of people I didnt get lucky for 10C tickets (no worries got my other 3 :D ), is there a 10C only pit at the front of GA ? Cant decide if I should try for GA or seats in the public sale and that may make a difference

    2. Are the public sale tickets personalised with your name like Berlin ?

    Thanks folks

    1. If it's the same as last time: there is a seperate pit. 10C wristbands always give access to it and they also let in the first people arriving with non-10c tickets.

    2. No, tickets are normally resellable.

    Thanks
  • Does anyone remember how last year went for the Amsterdam II tickets? Did Ten Club offer those as well? I just remember buying both in general sale and the second show going on sale the moment the first was sold out, which was like 10 minutes or something. Do we need to be alert tomorrow morning through general sale IF there’s a second show?
    Thanks!

Just stay alert, there will be no Tenclub selling on that.

IIRC, tickets went on sale as soon as the first show was sold out. You could get 10C wristbands afterwards by submitting your Ticketmaster order number to 10C. You could get 10c wristbands for tickets bought in general sales for all shows then though (after the crowdsurge debacle), so I don't known if that will be the case this year as well.

I'm probably a bit early with this but, where are people staying in Amsterdam - was there one close to venue that fans stayed in last year? and is the Ziggo Dome very far from the 'centre'/touristy bits of the city?

    Any info gratefully received :)

You can get there by train in 15-20 mins from centre of Amsterdam. It's right outside Ajax Amsterdam Soccer stadium.

I'd like to know about hotels though.

Last night I was looking at possible travel plans.

I was thinking of flying to Berlin for 1st gig from Finland via Stockholm, so I will purchase two-way tickets to Stockholm. Also would need to book two-way flights for Stockholm-Berlin. I now need to decide if I will return to Stockholm for 2nd gig on Friday or should I postpone it until Saturday morning.

One alternative though would be to return back to Stockholm with a ferry (dunno the prices as some site I found yesterday didn't show them)... might be boring, though. Has anyone considered this and would have more info and/or experiences of the ferry ride?

Still I am looking for hotel recommendations for Berlin part of the trip. Any suggestions? For Stockholm I have couple of already familiar hotels, so I will check those first I think.

Any reason to fly via Stockholm?

I bought the following flights for the same two gigs
    - Germanwings on Wednesday 25.6 Helsinki - Berlin, about 50 euros for one way ticket.
    - Airberlin on Saturday morning 28.6 to Stockholm, again about 50 euros for one way. Also cheap direct flights on 27.6 on both Airberlin and Norwegian. Better be quick, there's many others doing this trip.
    - SAS has several flights back to Helsinki on Sunday 29.6, yet again about 50 euros for one way. Also check Norwegian.

altogether I paid about 150 euros + some minor fees.

It's near the centrum, 15 minuts orso via train or metro.
Depending on what you need or require you can try the Van der Valk hotel in Breukelen.

    http://www.hotelbreukelen.nl/overnachten

It's a bit luxurious but € 70.00 a night is not that very expensive and it's a supurb place to stay.
And it's near the trainstation to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena and the last train departs at 01:15 hour so you have enough time after the show to relax..
And the next morning you will have an outstanding breakfast and a half hour train to the Airport.

For Amsterdam hotels the options are to big to even begin with.

Maybe this is a nice startoption. https://www.google.nl/#q=amsterdam+hotels

    Good luck every one.

I'm from Oulu, so I would need a connecting flight anyways. Either from Helsinki or Stockholm (SAS has direct flights from Oulu to Sthlm), makes no difference. Price decides.

Ok, you're that far up north, then it might be easier to go thru Stockholm.

BTW, the S3 trains that pass Wuhlheide now depart from Ostkreuz station, so you need to get there with some other train... (it's two stops from Ostbahnhof). Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind.

This seems to have changed at some point quite recently.
