GETTING THERE:
The Friends Arena is located in Solna, a suburb of Stockholm situated about 5 kilometres north of its city centre and central railway station. The stadium lies in a predominantly residential neighbourhood, just north of the old Råsunda Fotbollstadion.

If arriving by car from the E4/E20, take exit 167 toward Solna/Sundbyberg and follow the Frösundaleden toward Solna Centrum. Turn right directly after the railway station. While construction works on the adjacent shopping centre and hotels continue, there is limited parking available near the Friends Arena.

If using public transport, the stadium is best reached by train as Solna station is located almost next to the arena. Trains run regularly from Stockholm’s central station (T-Centralen). The journey only takes 7 minutes.

Metro stations Solna Centrum and Näckrosen also lie at reasonable walking distance from the stadium. Take line T11 from Stockholm’s central station.

I'm already looking at flight prices. How come flights in the US are so much more expensive than flights in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand?

Price from NYC to Amsterdam ain't pretty. At all.

Summer. Never going to be pretty. The reverse was true last year. I looked at flights for Wrigley and they were INSANE

Matt's not touring with Soundgarden this year. They're getting someone to sub for him.

Thanks. I'm definitely gonna try. I looked through old posts from the previous Eurotours and learned that they have in fact added dates to their schedule before, so I'm holding out hope for more UK dates. I'm also going to be looking for flexible/refundable travel options :D

I think a second Netherlands show is very likely.

And I hope for another Italy show. ;)

Depends on the speed of sales, I guess.

    2nd Wuhlheide seems unlikely. :x

Anyone know what the chances are of getting drawn these days? I want to go to 3 shows, but is it likely to get 3 shows if I only enter for 3? Could enter for more, but there's a slight money issue..

No idea, usually they have pretty large number of tickets reserved for 10c in Europe and these are some really big venues.

They've had lottery for only 2 shows in Europe, Berlin II and Prague last year, I guess nearly everyone won those... but it's a different story this time. What applies in America doesn't really apply here, venues are different and we might have less 10c members. I dont know.

Amsterdam €60 tickets standing you think? I might attempt that if I get locked out of the lottery.

Excactly. I entered for both Berlin II and Prague last year and got tickets, so I wondered if it was just lucky or if the chances of getting drawn are quite high.

I went to Berlin in 2010 without Ten Club tickets - got down there pretty early (caught the sound check and ate some bratwurst). Ten Club peeps got let in a little bit before regular ticket holders, but unless you want the rail you can get pretty close if you're close to the front of the queue. Its a small venue so you get a good view wherever you are tbh. If I miss out through 10c I'll happily go for tickets from other sites especially if its cheaper.

Can't speak on Amsterdam as didn't go to that one (much to my regret when I saw the legendary set list and Dimi's T-shirt). I'd expect 10c tickets are preferable at that venue tho?

Prices are cheaper if you just buy them at the official site of the gig itself.....i just looked it up for amsterdam and Berlin.... ...

I'd expect 10c tickets are preferable at that venue tho?
berlin is really cool to have 10c tix cos of the bar at 10c line-gate..but in the venue, besides rail,no need to have 10c tix
but amsterdam,yes..need 10c tic to be in the box upfront

    Hey guys,

How much does a concert ticket normally cost in Europe?
I'm from Brazil, never went to a concert abroad.. I was planning to travel in July and maybe be at one of the European dates...

    Thanks! :)
