Why ruin a 40 dollar buzz with a 5 dollar cheeseburger?

working! for some reason, people think it's a good day to play golf. Oh well, it's what I signed up for. Thanksgiving will be prepared for us by the fine folks at cracker barrel, I think it might be good.

Sorry you gotta work.. My wife and I tried to eat at one in Tennessee last year on thanksgiving but they were to busy.

so we settled on a Denny's attached to a gas station at a truck stop. I was thankful for Moons over my hammy :D

last two years we had a Thanksgiving buffet at a local restaurant, food was good, was nice not to have to spend all day cooking, but no leftovers...

so the "mother unit" (this is the actual term used by Erika and her siblings to refer to their mother) yesterday discovered a marathon of NCIS and my DVR. She spent 11 hours watching it yesterday, and now is back at it to finish the episodes she missed :fp:

and my DVR is full!!!! :fp:
  • Like everyone else, my mom, my family and my wife's friend will be sitting around a table at our favorite steak house.

Wife wanted to go to the Macy's day parade. Glad I dodged that.
My wife constantly mentions doing that one year before my kid gets older. I have as much interest in standing in the cold watching inflatable Woody Woodpecker go by (though if he got popped it might be fun) as I do standing in the cold on New Year's watching a ball drop.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Like everyone else, my mom, my family and my wife's friend will be sitting around a table at our favorite steak house.

how can I get the other half to do this?

We're leaving Friday, the last thing I want to do is wash dishes and have leftovers sitting in the fridge...it's just the 2 of us, so pointless to go thru the hassle.
