Let me hear it.

Ill be at my Mommy and Daddys.
We ordered a Pre-Cooked Bird with all the trimmings for $50.
This should be real interesting!:lol::lol:

We all agreed if its garbage, we just throw it away and order a pizza!
Take me piece by piece.....

My sister had us over for Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago and as it turns out it was a pre-made dinner from a major grocery chain. It was surprisingly good! She invited us again this year and we said, SURE! :D

WTF? The people at the pizza place have to work on Thanksgiving to serve you.

Going to my Moms. She's cooking. I imagine we'll have turkey.

Hmmmm. Thanksgiving this year is the day after our wedding and after the EV show :D We will either still be in Memphis or somewhere in that area, enjoying a lazy honeymoon day in the hotel room or maybe go to see relatives of Cav's that are living somewhere around there. I was excited to see a Thanksgiving table with all the family and a giant turkey around, but we are going to have that next year. The lazy honeymoon hotel day sounds quite awesome to me too 8-)

Eat enough turkey at my in-laws to bust outta my sweatpants and fall asleep.
And I anticipate accomplishing my goal.

    I am making the pies.

Pecan and pumpkin. Maybe a caramel pumpkin cheesecake too.
    Nice shirt.

Early Thanksgiving with friends tomorrow, heading to Nashville for another friend dinner on T-day, then driving to my uncle's on Saturday for a huge redneck feast.

The menu my buddy is preparing tomorrow is:
Butternut squash and apple curry soup

    Roasted turkey

    Jalapeno cheddar mashed potatoes

    Poblano pepper cream gravy

    Tamale stuffing

    Corn bread

    Corn and pepper salad

    Green beans with toasted shallots

    Candied carrots

    Cranberry-serrano chile relish

    Pumpkin pie

    Apple pie

And I'm sure a ton of booze

this will be our first turkey day since we've been married to not be around family. not sure what we're going to do, to be honest. i think i may fire up the grill & cook some ribs. (neither one of us is much of a turkey fan)
