no chance on 5000. they didn't even get that high of a run for the vault vinyl which was custom order and up for some time.
this was on sale for a few hours. it's less than 1500, probably less than 1000 really. i'd wager 777!
Without any knowledge of the subject, I'm estimating it costs
about 25k in setup costs and about $20 per set to produce these. That comes
to a little over 800 copies to break even. So 777 might not be far off.
I'm thinking it's probably more like 2000 though

this probably cost no more than $5 per set really. there is no set up costs, they didn't create a machine for these, they will go with a record pressing company, probably the same folks who did the album pressing. there is a healthy profit margin on vinyl. not as much profit as in posters, but its close.
"If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music." KV Jr.
It sold out way too quick for 1000. I mean how many people do you think were sitting around on a Sunday and ran to buy this. It had to be right place and right time. I would say a few hundred purchased and they are holding another few hundred. 1000 is a lot more than you think when it comes to records. There are still RSD items of 1000 press that are available. I'm guess somewhere in the 500 range but not sure we will ever find out. I'm sure they will pop up from time to time.

Are these also made by the same company that made LB?
Perhaps they kept half back incase there were some duds or perhaps the kept some
back incase some go missing in the post so they have replacements.
Remember they sold all of the PJ20 Ltd ed dvd then when a heap( about 1000) went missing in the
post they couldnt replace them.
Also if they turn out like the LB LP u would be crazy to be buying the item off someone in ebay that doesn't even
have it in their hands yet.
Me either but I am still not expecting it, I guess we will see soon.

that's to sell the ones that they cancelled due to "only one per household" rule. keep F5ing!

Maybe they're holding some back. The EV hardcover Songbook was released twice through the site. You never know.
1000 is a more realistic number. and i wouldn't be surprised if it were as low as 500.
I think it took about 3 hours. Quite a bit of time and enough to sell several thousand copies
I thought of this the other day too

i hear Jeff Bezos is on the phone every morning with UMG and Ten Club to demand that they supply Amazon with this product.
I'm sure he has that much time on his hands.
