  • saw them at the Boston Orpheum. Right Orch, row I, seat 6. I was speechless. It was my 2nd and 3rd show at Red Rocks that I knew I wasn't going to be a normal fan.

Remembered that they didn't play Alive and I was pissed off about it.. :fp:

But other than that, I do not remember a single thing.

I wish it was a ground breaking, earth shattering, life changing thing for me, but I only remember the "Alive" thing

I was 20 at the time and didn't realise how much they would effect me until much later on in life.. :fp:

Heh. There's not even a setlist for mine...

St. Pete 1992 -- From what I remember, I wasn't impressed by my new favorite band who wrote the best damn song I had ever heard up to that point, "Alive." Eddie's voice was awful. I think he must have been very ill. And the band was kind of sloppy as well. There were some monkey antics from Eddie, though.

Luckily, I'm a staunch supporter of second chances, which brings me to...

Orlando 1992 (Lollapalooza) -- Sick. Just sick. Completely restored my faith that this was my favorite band. Outdoor festival, so no seating, and Hurricane Andrew was bearing down on us. Eddie sounded amazing, and he and the boys whipped the crowd into a frenzy. Also, "Baba."

was in London, Ontario this past summer. I was one of those clowns in high school that thought if you were a Nirvana fan, you could not be a Pearl Jam fan. I will spend whatever time I have left trying to make up for it.

Payed $260 for a scalped ticket that cost $18 back in '94....worth every penny. I carried that ticket stub in my pocket for months.

Saw them in Barrie Ontario in 98, went with my gf at the time. We made our way up near the front, probably 10 people back as it was ga. Slow dancing to black while everyone around us was losing their mind to Mike's solo. It was amazing.

was in Ft. Lauderdale in 1996 in the crazy pit on Mike's side. My favorite band and my FIRST concert ever. I was afraid I would be disappointed/let down to see them in the flesh---WRONG. The pedestal I had created rose that much higher. My god, what an experience that night was. I remember leaving the show with a few guys (one, who to this day I will never understand why he gave me the ticket and passed up his high school buddy) and you should have seen the look on their faces when I told them it was my FIRST concert ever. They were like, "holy crap, man, well, you will never see anything like that again". They were right.

I had a t-shirt on that said "Drugs are my Life". It was given out at my pharmacy school, lol...wish I kept it:)

Wembley Arena October 1996, they opened with Oceans and I thought I was gonna get killed in the pushing, managed to find my feet during Last Exit. First show they ever played Smile as well.
