...enjoyed it so much I went out & bought all the albums(re-buying some of them I'd got rid of years previously not having listened to them in a long time) & joined the fan club the next day, & almost 4 years later I'm about to go on my 4th international PJ touring trip! :o  :D

I already loved them but just had never made a live show.

It took about two songs to realize that they perform live like no one else.

...was too young and too much of a smelly metal head to truly appreciate it.
    I loved it though
Took another 10 years for me to realize how special they are live.

Oceans was the first song I heard them play so not all bad.

was in the last row of the upper bowl, halfway behind the stage (on a tour with no behind the stage seating). Was probably the last seat sold, worst seat. Still amazing.

    +1.
    this.

[1.15.95 DAR Hall, DC. 15th birthday, to the day. 100 post cards sent to 10c to win tickets in a lottery.]

    I was there by myself.
    They opened with Release
and I had full body goosebumps,
    a shivering spine,
and tears welling at the corners of my eyes.
*I felt like i was having my first true religious experience*
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

    Love this one!

    For me....

was 17 and packed into a room with about 500 other screaming, sweaty people, suffered permanent damage to the hearing in my left ear and wouldn't trade it for anything!

 maybe all of our hearing has suffered over the years! Actually, yes it was freakin loud but any damage I suffered is likely the result of the (tiny) size of the room and my proximity to the speakers
