I had lawn seats for my first show. The thing is: when I got through on the phone (pre-internet tickets, kiddos), I was given the option of reserved or gen admin. Not knowing the venue (Meadows in Hartford), I chose GA thinking maybe it was a floor situation. Of course that was stupid in hindsight, but regardless I had a blast and looking back I wouldn't change a thing. Lawn for my first show was almost like a right of passage.
I believe it was Ed who said:

Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"
...was so excited to finally see my favorite band after 9 years of waiting that I bit my companions arm really hard when they came on stage. I just couldn't contain all my excitement hahaha. We still joke about it 7 years later

Got to go to the rail with a few other fans because PJ was the opening band and it was raining and the Rolling Stone fans did not arrive yet because they didn't want to get wet. Best.
