cried tears of joy, and got Goosebumps. What an amazing experience seeing PJ live for the first time.

    +1.
    this.

[1.15.95 DAR Hall, DC. 15th birthday, to the day. 100 post cards sent to 10c to win tickets in a lottery.]

    I was there by myself.
    They opened with Release
and I had full body goosebumps,
    a shivering spine,
and tears welling at the corners of my eyes.
*I felt like i was having my first true religious experience*
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

    Love this one!

    For me....

was 17 and packed into a room with about 500 other screaming, sweaty people, suffered permanent damage to the hearing in my left ear and wouldn't trade it for anything!

 maybe all of our hearing has suffered over the years! Actually, yes it was freakin loud but any damage I suffered is likely the result of the (tiny) size of the room and my proximity to the speakers

    1) Was 20 years old

    2) Saw "Long Road" as my first PJ song live

    3) Witnessed what I still maintain is the best N4U ever

    4) Had to drive back to my buddy's house in Chester, VT after the show on the way back to UVM in Burlington, VT for college classes the next day

    5) Knew I was hooked. 42 shows later I was right...

    6) Got to see my one and only Jack Irons show

    7) Saw "Who You Are"...A song I would not see again for another 12 years.

    8) Was on the lawn

    9) Got pepper sprayed peripherally because I was near where the pavillion crashers were getting nailed by the cops.

    10) HAD A BLAST
