The energy for last night's show was much higher than Friday's.
I was shocked how good the sound was up there after I was told that it would not be by an usher when I asked on night one.
Tremendous pair of shows. Although I like the MSG 2010 Show 2 slightly more. I thought that version of Better Man was one of the most musical poignant moments I've ever been a part of. Last night's version was a close second.
No shit! I was row 15 too!
I was the tall guy with the Yankee hoodie sweater and the Beeker Tee shirt, next to my brother in law, the tall bald guy with our wives.0 -
as always, they rocked the house, both nights!!! wish they were here for a 3rd, id go again!! Best band ever!!!!!!!0

I'm pretty sure my friend and I were sitting right next to you.I was the tall girl with glasses and a ponytail, she was in the PJ Alive shirt, and I believe she held a seat down for you guys to get back to your seats?

Yup, that was us. That's amazing. What are the odds?????0 -

I was at the Spectrum 4 in 2009, and PJ 20 at Alpine Valley, London Ontario in 2013 and London England in 2007, and my first show was randall's Island night 2, but this weekend will always be in my mind as one of the best double show poundings I ever had from these guys.
After my wife and I went to night one, I thought I could go without seeing night two, since I didn't have a ticket, but my wife said I should go, I'd get a ticket, and I'd regret it later if I didn't...I guess that's why she's my wife. She knew and she was right.
I went to the pre-party, and what do you know, all my favorite Pearl Jam fans and friends were there! Josevolution, decides2dream, Alan, Shayne, Gina, Anthony and Alise ... needless to say I got a ticket, but there is just so much more to this whole fucking trip than getting into a show and rocking your ass off. Now, in 2013, these are the songs that have been the soundtrack of my life for so long, and these are the people I have enjoyed them with, and that makes it all hit just a bit harder.
I wound up saying this a few times last night, maybe because I was high, but it still rings true today: I love a band that makes me cry and makes me pound my head in the same evening!
My name is Gregg C. and I have a problem ... I am an addict. But I'm a happy one! Thank you all for being my enablers!
haha my friend, you WERE high, no doubt - but what a great evening! so glad to see you preshow and hang. fun, fun weekend, and last night was AWESOME. still no other side for me - ouch pj - but still such a great show!Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow0 -

Still processing the night. Wow.
I was on the train from LI and figured out some of my fellow concert-goers. Somehow kept seeing those faces throughout the night and then rode back with all of them too. The great unspoken community of the LIRR.
Attended the show with a newly made 10C friend and met through her some other 10Clubbers at the beer hall -If you read this, Denaz, thanks for the beer. Mel, it was a lot of fun hanging out with you. We'll do it again with better seats! Place was immensely crowded but good to get in the mood. Looking forward to the preparties in Charlottesville and Charlotte.
Got my tickets from a close friend I went to high school with twenty years ago and on the way in, she told me she was expecting twins in a few months! Totally good vibes getting ready for the show.
In the arena I randomly ran into my yoga instructor with whom I've fallen in love with when I met her three days ago- different parts of the arena , but texting after the show on the way home was a nice ending.
Couldn't find the Brooklyn 2 shirts. Only down part of the night.
I think I'm forgetting something...oh yeah...the BEST MOTHERFUCKING SHOW I'VE SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!~
I don't know how the hell VA and NC will compare, but I'm ready to find out0 -
Loss of words. Amazing, amazing, amazing. They're beginning to play so many great sets that I'm getting used to it. Sad I missed both nights, but glad you all had a great time!!I've been fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam live.
I am hanging in the balance of a perfect finished plan

Well this is my story. I have been a fan since 1994. My first show was in 2006 in Brisbane, Australia. I have seen them 12 times to date, including Amsterdam II last year and Buenes in 2011. Having seen them on three different continents it was always my dream to see them in their home country and in the amazing city of New York.
Last night was my best show by far. I mean this firstly from a musical perspective. The band was tops so was Eddie. So what if he fucked up the lyrics of Unthought. As a singer that can happen if you are singing a 34 song setlist over 3 hours!
Having travelled halfway around the world to see them in NYC was worth every cent spent and every mile covered.
Thank you Pearl Jam for an amazing night of music!
I will always treasure Brooklyn II until my dying day...rustedsigns0 -
Didn't have a ticket until the last hour of the show, thank god. Was in section 207. The Barclays Center is a nice venue, but the design inside is pretty weird and confusing. One of the escalators wasn't working and was used as "stairs" and a lot of people started using it and it started going backwards then security came and told me not to use it. Started off kinda slow for me anyway accept for In Hiding. Things started picking up for me and by the encore I was pumped.

Highlights: In Hiding, Blood, Footsteps, All Those Yesterdays, Leaving Here, and Whipping. Also meeting more people at the pre party.

Was at both shows. Enjoyed the 1st one a bit more because my seats (off stubhub) were significantly better than my 10C reserved seats for last nights show. Back of the floor in row 15. Shit seats. If it wasn't for the screens I wouldn't have seen a thing and I'm 6'2" tall. Def won't be renewing my membership if that's the best the 10C can do. Will go stub hub going forward.
With that said, the band was on fire both nights. Ed's voice held up very well night 2. I just enjoyed the set list more first night. And for God's sake, I know Ed and the band LOVE Sirens to death and are ramming it down our throats but do they really need to play it 2 nights in a row at the same venue? Last night half my section went for beer/bathroom breaks during the songs, as did I. So I guess the songs good for something.
Highlights for me last night were Hail, Hail, Rats, Present Tense and All Those Yesterdays. Awesome."The Wild is chasing after me. Hot on my trail won't leave me alone. All I can see is your blood right in front of me, and I can't kill The Wild." Me0 -
If I was to sit down & write my dream set list, I don't think I could come up with one this good.
This was easily the best PJ show out of the 11 I've seen (5 white whales for me @ Brooklyn 2)
Otherwise, there's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said here......
Bring on Hartford!!Post edited by Merkin Baller on0 -

Happy Birthday, What a great birthday present!!!!0 -
The past two night were two of the best of my life. I don't think I could have written a better set list if I tried.
There was such an energy that flowed through the crowd both nights, which made everything more surreal.
I never thought I would see Pearl Jam play a show a few blocks from where I grew up, it was awesome.
On night 2, Eddie gave a speech about being broken, and not trusting those who have never been broken. Anyone have video of this?
I will post some of the video I shot later tonight.trying to shake the cancer off, stupid human beings ...0 -
Last night was my fourth show ever and my first one as a 10c member - so happy to be part of this community now! I was in the pit and it was pretty much a religious experience and a highly effective therapy session. As everyone else has said, the energy last night was just off the charts. I was standing near McCready and he was definitely on another level - at one point I thought to myself that he was playing as if he were trying to seduce someone in the audience, haha - just really rocking with the youthful fervor of an aspiring rock star instead of a seasoned one.
I just bought a ticket for Hartford...will be up in the nosebleeds for it, but who cares!? I'm trying to keep my expectations low - after last night and Wrigley in July, I've been very spoiled!8/5/07 Chicago - Lollapalooza

i would have to say that stone's solos during Rats and RITFW were two of the best ive ever seen him do.it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...0
