This made me laugh.. couldn't have described it better! I've never followed setlists before in my life, yet, here I am, watching, waiting, and cringing at what I'm missing... Pearl Jam, one show in and look what you've done to me!!!An empty cup in the middle of the sea..

You've been to a lot of shows (compared to my one, anyway, lol).. what's your cure for post-show depression?? Time? Distraction? Forum threads? Lol!
Still going crazy here..An empty cup in the middle of the sea..

It helps once the bootlegs of the show(s) come out
Checking out setlists threads is fun but you may get insanely jealous

A bit, yeah . . . my high lasted all day Sunday though but then quickly came to a thudding stop when it was back to the grind..... it takes months of getting pumped, planning listening to boots etc. and then BAM! The show is over and I, being from Canada, usually have to wait another 2 to 3 years before I see them againBarrie 08/22/98

Yeah I definitely feel weird today, like, really, this is my job? this is my reality? just a few hours ago I was immersed in incredible, inspiring music, dancing and singing with thousands of cool people, without a care in the world, and now you want me to listen to 30 annoying voice mails and pay bills and get the car fixed and clean the f'ing bathroom?0

I absolutely get this after a show/tour. I was at Worcester night 1 and drove back to Philly the next day. Completely bummed, but grateful for night 1 and the two Philly shows upcoming. Next Wednesday is gonna be awful.
On a related note...I had a panic attack on the way to MA. Who are we going to travel to see once PJ (and for me, DMB) is done touring...for good!0 -
Last night was my first show. Sat stage side to Guitar God Mike McCready. It felt like an out of body experience. I had a 3 hour drive back home, and I might have shed a few tears because it actually hit me that it DID happen. Got home at 3, and couldn't get to sleep until 5 this morning. I'm a little sad because I'll never have another first show, but I have Brooklyn 1 & 2 to look forward to! My post show depression comes after my last show and goes until the end of the tour. I'm currently trying to fight the urge to fly to Brooklyn.0

I usually go to multiple shows per tour so I get my fill and don't feel too much post-tour depression.0

Same, months of prep, anticipating the awesomeness, the ecstasy of my first show (second row no less!), barely slept, giggled the whole 5hr drive home, then had the life sucked out of me when I realized I was no longer surrounded by PJ fans!An empty cup in the middle of the sea..

I know right. My 63 and 59 year old dad and mom still go to Bruce shows so hopefully we can be so lucky.
I have it bad after W1 and 2. I'm spending way too much time reading threads and trying to get a Hartford ticket for one last go.0 -
I got home from my Worcester adventure last night and I am SO mopey today! Got the whole week off from work so I could go to the BK shows if I had tix, but that's looking like a near impossibility. Getting by with videos from the last two shows and the hope of a Brooklyn 2 miracle.05-12-06 Albany || 10-15-13 Worcester 1 || 10-16-13 Worcester 2 || 5-1-16 MSG 1 || 5-2-16 MSG 2 || 8-5-16 Fenway 1 || 8-7-16 Fenway 2 || 9-2-18 Fenway 1 || 9-4-18 Fenway 2 || 5-3-22 San Diego || 5-6-22 LA 1 || 5-7-22 LA 2 || 9-8-22 Toronto || 8-29-24 Wrigley 1 || 8-31-24 Wrigley 2

I know right, it feels a bit silly saying that when we're clearly lucky to go to one show let alone multiple shows. As corny as it sounds there are so many shitty things in life, a few hours at these shows is the ultimate therapy!0
