I have it even though I'm going to Fenway in 3 months!!!!
4 shows in 5 days without taking a day off from work and having other events to attend in between was pretty intense and tiring. Going to bed super early tonight. Excited to hear the boots of the shows.
More like Post Raleigh depression... I lost my favorite band
Yeah, I flew from Seattle for Hampton and Raleigh. Got the word about the Raleigh cancellation as I was going from the hotel to the Hampton Coliseum, and it killed the mood for the Hampton show. I've been in a post-show funk for the past few weeks and the whole Raleigh drama has bummed me out even more. Sorry that you didn't get the chance to see them at all. I know that was a major disappointment. The fans really paid the price hard.
It's the body's way of responding to being amped up pre show and during the show.
I was so pumped for Greenville, pumped flying/driving in, pumped during the show, pumped after meeting Mike the next day and then...BOOM...it was all over. Just like that it felt like a dream. Now I'm itching for the next show.

Actually don't have post show depression this time around.
I've got post show flu. That whole standing around in the rain then getting sweaty inside the site before going back out in the rain four times in five days apparently caught up with me. Bullcrap.

It's real for sure. I still have Ohana, but I already know the plane ride back from CA to NYC after it's over will be brutal.
Learn to play a harmonica. That will kick your blues
Yes, harmonica glow girl, maybe a certain harmonica in particular.

I have definitely felt this in the past. We saw the 2 Vancouver shows and had the post show let down then a few weeks later we saw The Tedeschi Trucks Band for the first time. They were fantastic and generally play 2000-3000 seat venues. I see they're in and around NYC this month and the NE and then they head SE wrapping up in Atlanta in Nov.
Back to reality fucking sucks. I feel like for the past 3 years I’ve planned my whole year around seeing this band, and now with no plan in sight I’ve been a bit down the past few days. Looked into Ohana like a drug addict and can’t justify the last minute cost.
From a business perspective, the band should profit off of our depression by releasing 2025 dates soon…but we all know PJ is the last to announce.

Feeling this pretty hard. I was doing ok after my west coast run because I still had Missoula and was toying with the idea of Wrigley or Ohana......but now post Missoula and stupid work killing my Ohana dreams, I am just sad. Gotta say though it was a great 6 show run and nice to see the boys with the pre covid energy again.
Anything you lose from being honest You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
So much anticipation...it seems so far off when you buy the tickets...all the planning...hoping for great weather...the shows get closer...you upgrade your seats...the shows get closer...the forecast is great...the shows are awesome...
...and then its over.
I totally understand feelings of depression and emptiness after.

Depression post show
The fix is to listen to as many bootlegs as possible during the depressed phase.

I have 2 other shows before the end of the year, but it won't be long before I start wondering what PJ has in store for next year.
"...I changed by not changing at all..."
I'm good for a year or 2.
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
I said I was good after my 3 shows in ‘24. I’m not.
