Cool Thing about the Pearl Jam vinyl; it is slightly different than the CD. The vinyl's cover print has a hand-painted effect to it rather than the flat red ink color. Tried to show it with this pic:
Nice score  That looks really goodWhat colour is the vinyl?
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -

Black
Comes with a download code
The 12x12 book has handwritten lyrics rather than the print font on the CD
There's also a 12x24 sticker set with the song emblems and silhouettes of the band members0 -

So I went to this record fair on the weekend that happens every quarter, you see the usual things over and over, lots of rubbish not to my taste, then digging through one particular crate, not really expecting too much and came across this...

Playing it now...will let you know.
Through with side A; No issues
Pendulum really comes to life
Done with Side B; No issues
Hyper-critique: There were 2 clicks (my fathers son and lightning bolt) and 1 pop (Infallible) in total...nothing that was distracting or took away from the listening experience, nothing out of the ordinary for vinyl. Side 2 was flawless.
Sounds like other people are having deeper issues than this. But if anyone complained after getting a copy like mine, I'd say stick with CD's or MP3s as your listening medium.
The recording itself has Brendan O'Brien's mainstream production quality to it, which squashes the lively-sound quality of the album from the get-go. It sounds a step up from the CD, but it has O'Brien's post 1990's footprint (IMO; highly controlled sound with a flat dynamic) on it no matter what how you listen to it.
One last detail: In the deadwax there's an inscriptions that reads, "In the league of crafty fulminologists/Surf is where you find it - Gerry Lopez"Post edited by mookeywrench on0 -
I can't believe all the LB vinyl is messed up and being pulled from stores. :fp: OMG 10C. That couldn't be good for record sales! ... We could be waiting a looooooooong time for a copy of LB that sounds good! :(With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful.
