I love the mobile fidelity LP's and that Blood On The Tracks is on my want list... second hand or new? mind if I ask what you paid for the Dylan?
Got them both new for $25 each. The MFSL Blood on the Tracks is the BEST I have ever heard, so good.
I really want both of these... Did you grab these at Grimeys?
No, actually through Collector's Choice website. Had a 20% at the time.

Nice! I initially ordered it on blue vinyl but then the store were unable to get the blue vinyl in. I actually debated whether or not to keep the order & get black vinyl or just cancel. Glad I kept the order, it's a great soundtrack!

Absolutely. At this point I don't care that much about colored versus black. Seems like everything is pressed in another color these days. I pick them up when I can, but don't lose sleep over it when I miss out.

Next I will have to get the movie from netflix to take a trip down memory lane.

I laugh at myself for watching a 9 min video of a forklift moving machines around and being totally into it.

"I think we're going to press a shit load of records."
How can you not get excited for this?
    Quality indeed.

+1 I've never heard more of an "in the room" effect with any other record. After hearing the album a million times before it was like hearing it for the first time. Sorry to be so cliche, but it's really an impressive pressing.

Morning Phase has become hard to find now. They all got snatched up after the Grammy win. Kicking myself for not buying it before that - had it in my hands several times, but I kept saying "I'll grab it next time". Now i've had to wait weeks for Amazon to get it back in stock and ship it, and they are gone from record stores.
I guess winning a Grammy really is good for an artist!

If you're still looking for a copy it looks like rough trade still have some online. Can't imagine it'll be cheap in terms of exchange rate and shipping tho.

Good to know I grabbed such a decent pressing then. Have listened to it and yes, I must say it's pretty impressive. Loving all the extras that come with it too, like the bad-ass poster of the pyramids.

I like this is it a lot too. I remember buying that and The White Stripes - White Blood Cells on the same day and just playing those two albums over and over again. :)

glad I could help you spend your money, my spending has been out of control. I will have to live vicariously through others. But I do have my eye on the Beatles Mono box - would be a steal with this discount. ;)
