    I used to just get drunk and walk all over that city. I love it! And I miss it when I dont go for a few months...that's probably why I wrote so much detail... One time after too many drinks, I got lost in a cool, old neighborhood, and the chickens that roam free started following me when the sun started coming up. :P

    I've read most of Hiaasen's books, so its possible that he influenced me a bit...but not really/I dont think so. I hear its quirky in similar ways though. I think the only direct influence I had was Captain Morgan. Anything else was subconscious.. :mrgreen: I tried very hard to make it original and my own, if that makes sense.

    I dont really know how to describe the style or the genre. Anyone got suggestions?
