"Jonny Bails Floatin" My new novel, now available!

Hello my PJ friends!

I just wanted to say I'm excited that my new novel Jonny Bails Floatin will be coming out tuesday, July 16th.

SYNOPSIS wrote:

Jonny Bails, Key West’s favorite beer-guzzling, barnacle-scraping street performer, has a night-fishing problem and a penchant for finding bales of marijuana, and trouble.

Beneath a drunken, womanizing haze lies the underglow of something more, but Jonny can’t seem to get out of his own way. That is, until he locks eyes with the mesmerizing “girl with the crooked smile.”

Violence ensues as nemesis, The BOMB (the Biggest One-Man Band) goes for the girl, the glory and “the gift.”

Jonny’s one true friend, the fatherly Booker, larger-than-life Cuban ex-con “Shorty” and eventually, the narcissistic and volatile “Bomb” form a band and escape Key West to discover a big world of fame, like it or not.

Jonny struggles to find the love of his life, the source and meaning of his new “condition,” and himself.

An orgy of music, magic and metamorphosis, “the luck of the bioluminescence” will change you, as it changes Jonny, from empty to animal to superhuman. Raw and romantic, empowering and fun, Glassman’s debut novel thrills and delights between scenes of deeply felt, self-realizing passion.

I just got a tablet cause I thought it's easier and cheaper to read German books on it than having them shipped to the US. I dig the summary, so I think I might be up for this :thumbup:

First one nay, second one is okay. A rough, quick translation could be something like this
Jonny Bails, Key Wests beliebtestes biersaufendes, Straßenmusiker-Raubein, hat ein Nachtangel-Problem und zieht Marihuana-Packen und Unheil an, wie die Motten das Licht. Das Schicksal hält mehr für ihn bereit als alkoholgeschwängerte Weibergeschichten, aber Jonny kann nicht aus seiner Haut. Bis er das "Mädchen mit dem schiefen Lächeln" kennenlernt.
Als seine Nemesis, The BOMB (Biggest One Man Band), sich das Mädchen, die Ehre und "die Gabe" zu schnappen droht, wird er aktiv.
Jonnys bester Freund, der väterliche Booker, der legendäre kubanische Ex-Knacki "Shorty" und der narzisstische, flatterhafte Bomb gründen eine Band und verlassen Key West, um berühmt zu werden.
