someone I got sd instead of la on the sale today when both were in my cart at same time and I try la first and it confirm I thought but then booted them out I guess and gave me sd for some reason
and the other thing with ticketmaster is that you never know with them, in Newark 2010 it kept coming shit seats for the first 30mins so I finaly pick a few so so singles, then like an hour and half later the best ticket I found is available, wtf . then today it the opposite. you never know with ticketmaster. it almost better to play college stadiums that don't use ticketmaster at least there still a handful of those.
the Spokane website worked better than any of the others I hear?
350 +++++ and counting. Your best set is to try and get tickets from a point of sale Ticketmaster outlet. Not the internet. Besides you have your tickets already.

You would be surprised at the number of shows people have seen. This is a concert going community many of whom are in their 40s (and 50s).
In the olden times we would wait in line, in the rain or freezing cold, the night or even the day before tickets went on sale. And you always ended up sitting at the show with the people who were around you when you waited in line. Ahhh, kids of the 70's.

you a naïve idiot if you believe that, I was on the sites for the tickets within 20 seconds of them going on sale, how can all the good seats be gone within 20 seconds ? then you go to stubhub a few hours later and there is 100s of tickets for double or triple the price in the exact sections that were never available, its a monpoloy game they play, ticketmaster gets $ on side from stubhub I believe too, it too shady how it donesmanchac1 wrote:pearljamdude420 wrote:where do all the good tickets go this is bullshit it gets worse every year imo and I been to over 400 concerts or more not all pj but the ticket situation is getting ridiculous with the more technology, half these fuckin tickets wind up on stubhub, who the fuck has the hacking codes to get all the good seats?
I got la floor from ticketmaster for night 1 lucky first 1 I picke,d but night 2 was bullshit bulled I thought a good single till I see now it says upper concourse so it must be a shit seat . san diego I cant even find a decent single, it like it sold out all the good seats for san diego in less than a minute
So you got a floor ticket to la, and another ticket to la 2, at face value.. And yet your throwing a fit?
Jesus.. Learn to be greatful and just be glad pearl jam is still playing and that your in the door for face value.
I knew I should have avoided the forum today
The good tickets weren't gone in 20 seconds... they just worded it badly, it should have read "High Demand, we are kicking you out due to congestion... please try again".
I got the same "High demand" messages for each of the 3 venues I scored tickets for, and I eventually got in.

TICKETMASTER IS SOME FUCKIN BULLSHIT, THEY SAY PUT THE ANSWER IN THE BOX OR TYPE A WORD SOMETIMES YOU CANT READ IN THE BOX, BECAUSE THEY WANT TO PREVENT BOTS, YET 1000S OF BOTS ACCESS THERE SITE THAT HOW ALL THE TICKETS GET GOBBLED UP SO FAST
IT NOT FANS GETTING ALL THE TICKETS ARE YOU FUCKIN STUPID. A GOOD COUPLE THOUSAND TICKETS A SHOW QUITE POSSIBLE EACH GO ONSALE ON EBAY AND STUBHUB, THERE IS BOT PROGREAMS THAT SCALPERS USE, TO GET LIKE 6 TICKETS LIMIT AT ONCE , OR WHATEVER THE LIMIT IS THE BEST, THEN THEY CAN REENTER THE SYSTEM AGAIN QUICK, I have a friend does computer he doesn't hack but says the scalpers hack the system with bots, ticketmaster is too stupid or cant stop it. it getting worse with the more computers
it better before when people line up in line waiting to get tickets that is more fair
Lol!!!!!
You realize people are laughing at you. Right? While you were throwing a fit here someone else offered up the tickets you needed in another thread. And they were taken by a nice fan. That could have been you. Lesson learned? Probably not.
Maybe you'll understand this
IT'S YOUR FAULT YOU GOT SCREWRD BECAUSE YOU TRIED TO CHEAT THE SYSYEM. ITS YOUR FAULT YOU BOUGHT THE WRONG TICKETS.
I knew there would be bitching today but this is just toddler gibberish.

Some posts leave me astonished at the lack of understanding of how a system works, so let me explain it for the OP:
Some people go to concerts for pleasure. Some go for their business (scalping). Ticketmaster does what it can to deter the scalpers by making increasingly challenging security 'checkpoints', and invest good chunks of money into those ventures - but so do scalpers.
Scalpers exist because fans are willing to pay premiums for tickets, regardless of their original selling price, and scalpers exploit this. In other words, the people who support this industry are the people who are so damned concerned about seeing a concert that they are willing to buy from scumbags at inflated prices.
So long as people leave themselves unconcerned regarding the price of a concert and happily buy from sleaze bags, these captures will get more difficult.
Oh, one more thing. Remember when first you said 'fuck ticketmaster' for their captcha program? Then you said 'fuck ticketmaster' for allowing phones to be used, which bypass the captcha? WERE YOU EVEN THINKING WHEN YOU WROTE THESE THINGS IN BIG, DUMB, CAPITAL LETTERS, NOT REALIZING ONE PROBLEM YOU HAVE IS THE SOLUTION TO ANOTHER?

So I'm late to the game here, what exactly are we suing ticketmaster for, asking multiple choice questions?? Did a new law get passed that I haven't heard about yet? Damn, if so, somebody better start telling the schools soon before the school year starts, a whole lot of test are going to have to be rewritten, that's going to cost taxpayers a shit ton of money.
