how can the thread for the TENTH ALBUM be only 4 pages long??? Mind Your Manners is a blistering ear melting awesomeness.

Can't wait to hear the rest. A studio version of Of The Earth would be kick ass.

ha nicely put. Love it how you always seem to speak what im thinking

Listened to it again this morning from Hyde Park '10 - still can't stand it, still sounds like a massive mess to me. There's no real flowing structure to it, sounds like a bunch of mismatched parts that are just stuck together.

But different strokes for different folks

    I agree.

yes also agree, the song seemed to be a rough version at the time, and it didn't work terrifically well for me either. However if it makes the album im sure they will have made it work....or they wouldn't use it. and that's IF they use it.

I believe the tracklists seen so far are way off the mark

but there is nothing incorrect about that statement......it was very highly acclaimed.

Its well documented that you are not fond, I think you've made that clear. But subjective user reviews were hardly factored into that statement.

see here for all you need: -

But its ok, you clearly don't like it ;) we get that.
  • I am ready for some new PJ!!

Mind Your Manners is a great tune, heavier than all of Backspacer which indicates a heavier album

Let's hope Of the Earth is on it!!

Oh god I hope not, I love this band to pieces but that is one horrible, uncoordinated mess of a song that deserves to be buried away with Olé and never spoken of again. At every gig I heard it at it absolutely murdered the atmosphere every time.

Like the new song, hope the new album continues that vibe

A matter of taste... I think Of the Earth is good solid rock, I would love having it on the album – totally agree with Olé, can't hear it, but it's just my own personal thing. Really looking forward to October!! :-D

Really like this song. I'm feeling a little bit of Comatose on this one.

I think it's a cross between Comatose & Spin the Black Circle. I can't stop playing it, I LOVE IT!!
I escaped it...a life wasted...I'm never going back again

I thought the same, the moment countdown went off and read the title...one of my favorite phrases in one of my favorite songs now in an album title!

Wow. Color me wildly excited. MYM absolutely rocks, and all of my friends who also listen to/love PJ agree. I also LOVE the album artwork, colors, and title. It totally works.

    I love this band...very happy.

New song is definitely solid. Have only listened to it a few times, but like what I hear.

Definitely going to grab the vinyl, but not sure if I want to pay the high shipping costs (like others). If I can support my local record store I will probably go that route. Don't really need the bonus content.

Either way, pumped to have a new album coming out and a new tour to support it!

93.3 in Philly this morning, they said they heard the next record/single "Sirens" and they said that it is even better than MYM. 5+ mins in length with more melodic tendencies. One of the tools, claims to be a huge PJ fan, yet had no idea that STBC even existed....
