Another 12 hits with Cole stewing on the bench. It's just bizarre.

Cole's era is 4.45 so I don't think he should be stewing too much about the offense. 4.45 is not close to being good enough for a #1 starter.

well he's clearly not pitching the way he should. but the high era is based off of 3 bad starts. it's not like he's been bad every time out. in his other 7, he has not allowed more than 3 earned runs. he's been good in 7 starts and has 1 win to show for it. he's got a right to stew.

that said, need more consistency out of him...obviously.

    Bob Ford is on point.

Funny to think that some here had them winning close to 90 games.

yeah, when I said before the season that they had no margin for error/injuries, even I didn't think it was this slim.

they need to put pat gillick's facial profile on one of those batman projectile lights and shine that thing over the city skyline 24/7 until he returns.

Everything had to go right for this team to have a chance but look at all that has happened and there still not that far out. I can't imagine the braves and Nats continuing at this pace. Both of those teams will have hot stretches, but can we? History says yes but I'm not feeling it. Amaro has done a pretty rough job. The fact they went into the year with this outfield is beyond me. The "approach" at the plate is dreadful...welcome to the 2010 playoffs Amaro wtf?!? I was okay with holding on to this core for 11, 12 and this year but this year has to be it. We need new blood. Just wait and see attendance in aug/sep when were 15 out. Sorry rant over :|

I also said I thought they'd struggle to finish .500 (your favorite number). some said they would win 88. and that first place atlanta was most overrated team in division.

but as we know, it's better off to ignore the nonsense that dude throws around

no howard today. thank god. I think hamels goes 8 or 9...allows 2 or less. with this lineup, probably still won't be enough. really looking forward to this game...could be done in two hours with these beasts pitching

actually I said 85-88 but we know how you don't like facts. I stand by my prediction. didn't realize the season was over in 50 games. crown the braves the champs now.
