    Holy crap!!!
    I remembering watching that game...
    15 years?!?

    God, that slider was ridiculous!

Crazy to think that if the Cubs had a decent pitching coach back then...what kinds of careers would Wood and Prior had? :?

I skipped my afternoon classes to finish watching this game. That fn slider was ridiculous. The last one broke 3 feet. It looked like his fastball was 109 with sick movement. Should have been a no hitter except for a bad call by the scorer early in the game. Kerry was and still is my favorite cub behind ryno.

Thrilled with the Rizzo deal. If he really becomes the player that everyone says he is going to be, the Cubs are getting him at a bargain and can start building around him.

Well, I'm always a skeptic. How often do Cub players sign long term deals to end up doing nothing?
I hope it works, because if he hits close to .3, I'd be happy.

Had a great time at the game last night.
Seeing a game from field level, right behind the Cubs on deck circle, was pretty damned cool.

Those tix were $60 a piece.
The same tix, for this weekend against the Mets are over $100.
The difference between a "prime game' and a regular game, I guess.

But for $120 it was well worth it. A beautiful night, nice warm weather, and I got to watch the Rockies make baseball look like a pinball game. They were hitting rockets all over Wrigley.:lol::lol:

So for a couple of innings, until he took off, we sat next to Sec. of State Jesse White.
His 2 bodyguards looked like Jules and Vincent from Pulp Fiction.
