Im gonna play devils advocate here and say - don't announce tour dates!

...just to be different and start a fight.

Ok, forget dates. How about announce the region? Think they've narrowed that down?

Yes. Guess they covered it. Alright, I'll just wait. Has Oracle World week been announced? Maybe have to schedule around that.

  • So they shouldn't care about the fans trying to plan to see a show? Haha ok
  • I agree... there are tons of other acts and festivals that I'm holding out on just in case PJ announces a US tour. HURRY UP ALREADY!

  • I haven't seen PJ in nearly 7 years. It would be nice to plan in advance around my work schedule however I consider this an emergency. Like all emergencies employers will have to understand when you need a day or 2 off. I might have to word it differently instead of a PJ tour.

Honestly, I don't think they should care. Sure, they want people there, but I'd say a small percentage of the 15,000 people at a show have to plan 5-6 months in advance to see a concert.

Hopefully the dates work out for you.

It's not like PJ is really pushing it by not announcing yet. Even if it's an early fall tour that's still 5-6 months off. I've been to alot of shows and I'm pretty sure I've never bought tickets that far in advance.

Aside from that, what kinda nazis you people working for that you have to turn in vacation days 6 months in advance with no wiggle room?

Doesn't apply to me, but the manufacturing plant technicians have to pick their vacation for the next year in December of the previous year. They can leave a few unscheduled, but its tough to do.

I agree with this... first off from a sales point of view, a PJ concert will sell well if they announce the show 6 months out or 1 month out. Plus I have a feeling that a lot of this planning is revolving around the release of the new LP... A lot of moving pieces here.....
Further back and forth a wave will break on me, today...
