    I agree The Following is not keeping my attention very but at this point I'm so invested into it I feel like if I don't continue to watch it will drive me nuts. I think The Following would have been a better show on FX instead of Fox.

    Great episode. Stan's character arc maybe went a little too parabolic from straight-laced, by-the-book lawman to cold-blooded killer, but it made for some good drama.

    Very jarring but I'll give the writers a pass, especially if it haunts Stan in some way in future episodes.
