Did anyone else catch the pilot of this new FX show yesterday night? I just finished watching it and thought it was really good. I think fans of some of the other shows we discuss around here (Homeland, Breaking Bad, Dexter) would really like it. The show takes place in the 1980s and is about a pair of soviet spies who are undercover in the usa posing as an american married couple.

    They were actually filming an episode near me. One of my friends worked background on the show when they filmed in Brooklyn.

    I kind of flinch whenever I see Keri Russell, I'm sure she's talented, but I always think Felicity. But this show does have me curious and I meant to watch it or DVR it but I forgot. I have the rerun on Monday set to record though.

    Definitely! That was an awesome pilot episode. Will be checking out the rest of this season for sure.

    I liked it.

    My only complaint is they did a horrible job at age casting. Neither character looks to be in thier forties. She mentioned her dad died in WWII when she was two. So say she was born in 38. But it's not a big deal. Small complaint and I guess I should STFU about it.

    interesting idea for a show....love hearing eminence front in the promos. is that the theme song?

    Pretty good opener. Love the concept so I'll give the season a chance. The ages do seem off for the characters, but there's some good action/drama here. To me, the show has a Miami Vice feel to it. I don't know if there's any actual connection or its just inspiration, or just me. But any way about it, that's a good thing to me.

    Love this show. I was just thinking recently that I miss the old school US vs USSR spy movies, then viola, this shows up. Its great and Kerry Russel in those high-waisted Guess jeans, hilarious.
