    Ya know, I am glad he can no longer kill o harm anyone.

    But in a way, I feel bad he went through all that. If he believes the LAPD is corrupt, why not point it out in a logical and safe way instead of resulting to violence?

    Yes, RIP.... for sure, he should have just been a normal.whistleblower (not that that is easy for a cop). I guess when you're a nut bar doing the right or reasonable thing doesn't seem appealing!

    Yeah, I'm with you (and having mixed emotions on this too).

    I think he tried in his way initiallly - and wasn't a "nut bar" until he felt pushed to that extreme.

    That said, I've been thinking more about the lives he took than the one who took them.

    Guessing a whole lot more is to come to the forefront on this.

    I read this in the LA Times a couple days ago and I thought it really told a lot about the kind of guy he was. Like - really not somebody who should be a cop. Problems with authority, etc. When he was in training, "He thought the rules didn't apply to him."

    Anyway, it's sad but I'm glad it's (hopefully) over and have they announced that they found his body yet?

    according to this, no body has been identified or found. it says the building is still too hot for investigators to enter.

    OMG! its like a bad hollywood movie. theyll find a body but they wont be able to identify it through DNA for some reason and years from now dorner will reappear reaking havoc again. i think LL cool J should star. ;):lol:

    If the LAPD rethink the way they run the show, well he did his part whether you like the way he did it or not.

    I get that cops can't serve vigilante justice but anyone who thought this was going to end any other was is delusional. I also can't seem to get worked up about what happened. The world is better with this guy dead, I don't really give a shit how it happened.

    I understand the sentiment... the L.A.P.D. has to address some serious internal racial problems throughout its ranks. It has been this way for some time. The only thing the Rodney King riots brought about was to drive the racism underground. You cannot change a racist by simply telling him that racism is wrong.

    However... all sentiment is lost when he murdered a young Fullerton Women's Basketball coach who was only guilty of being the daughter of a police captain... and an innocent young man whose only crime was to love that woman. Dorner is a quadruple murderer who snuck up and murdered 3 and one who was responding to those crimes.

    I fully understand his grievences with the department... but, none of those points takes away the fact that he was a murderer.

    I hear you Cosmo. I kind of saw this guy attempting to drag the LAPD through the mud, and good on him for exposing the racial problems among others with the p.d. But he blew any credibility once he murdered an innocent victim.

    I'm thinking the people he killed are far from innocent in his eyes after being railroaded for doing what was right in the first place. Every cop that turns a blind eye, stands with corruption
    or abuse of power is guilty. Anyone who accepts this.
    It's going to take the good in the bunch to stand up and stop this.

    10 cops arrested here in metro Atl for corruption a couple days ago. 10 right :? ha!
    probably a drip in the big bucket.
    Nothing to do with how they treat our citizens, which is often in question,
    but for being on the take with drug dealers.

    Trickle down now... all those that were busted and jailed rightfully by these 10 involved,
    will get new trails and most likely walk. :wtf: At whose expensive?
    Cops must be required to be clean, to be fair, to uphold the law otherwise they are no good to us.

    Dorner's life was ruined by corruption, so much so he had to fight back
    and get this message out.

    Walk a mile.

    Even if this guy was wronged, which is a HUGE if. He murdered 4 people. Dead. Gone. Families devestated because this asshole decided death was justifiable payback for his issues.
