    That old thread was brilliant!

Agreed...there was a lot of chemistry in the older threads. While I do enjoy talking about YIELD, I miss the old conversation back in the day.

Can you feel the YIELD love tonight?

    This album is pure beauty.

It's a full moon over a bonfire on a summer night. It is the crickets chirping as you lay in a tent, thinking how gorgeous it is to realize life is a wide-open array of choices that all lay before you. This album, YIELD, is about life as we experience it. Listen to LOW LIGHT on a summer night, watching the sun set, with not a care in the world. ALL THOSE YESTERDAYS, my brothers and sisters.

I've listened to Low Light while watching the sunset. Just beautiful.

Dammit, I just love this album so much! Could be the only thing I listen to today.

This evening when the Super Bowl is on and hubby is gone to work I am going to play my Yield album for the first time ever. I've had it for a couple of years but have not played it or even had it out of the shrink wrap. The shrink wrap was partially open when my husband got it for me (may be why it was such a good deal), but I think I will open it all the way and play it tonight. AND watch SVT. That will be my Super Bowl party!

I still have my old stereo system with turntable that I bought in 1989 - big speakers and all! Once in a move long after I started buying only CD's the needle got damaged. Last year I finally got around to buying a new needle and started listening to my old vinyl and my new vinyl. It has been so much fun! I grew up with vinyl. Yes, I'm old.

I was 17 and Yield was my first PJ experience. I remember being in a church parking lot and my youth leader putting Yield in. Brain of J blasted through and I knew I had been musically rescued.

Great times! We both went and saw PJ a couple of years later. It was our first show. Now I have a life long friendship and a great band to follow.

Shortly after hearing Yield I remember going through my older brother's music and finding Vs. older brother's had lot of cool things...or mine did anyway.

    Love Yield!

    I love Yield

I remember being stationed at Fort Polk LA and seeing the commercials for the album coming out during WWF Monday Night Raw. I drove from Ft Polk to Alexandria which is about 45 min to buy Yield. Defiantly in my top five of PJ albums.
    My butt itches!
