YIELD.

The Natural Light Trilogy.....MFC......LOW LIGHT..........IN HIDING.......

Name a better trilogy. I dare you. And drive your convertible jeep down by the river at sunset while said trilogy plays. I dare thee.

Discuss.

Wow, does this YIELD thread title take me back several years!! :D
  • For some reason i on a nice sunny day, theres nothing better to me than listening to the first 3 tracks of the self titled album. Maybe its just because i associate the blue sky with the blue on the album cover?

ahhh I missed this thread :D

Yield was the album that turned me into a hardcore fan...my dad bought it for me cause he was sick of the pop punk I'd been listening to. In Hiding pulled me in and inspired me to play guitar. great album

Yield is my baby. I couldn't live wo it. So inspirational, and it should be, given its big influence was Ishmael.

"Who's got the Brain of J FK? whats it mean to us now?"

possibly the best opening line to any album ever.....

you simply mean 3 songs in a row when you say trilogy? or do they connect? i'm too lazy to check. 8-) please do discuss the "Natural Light" you speak of
  • I'm curious what is meant by the "Natural Light Trilogy" too.

Personally I'm partial to Faithfull--No Way--GTF myself as a 3-song run from Yield. Or if I'm not limited by the original track listing, Faithfull--In Hiding--GTF work well together.

No way. I don't even like Life Wasted. I mean, it's a good song if it were written by any other band. WWS is alright. Comatose if the shit. I usually start that album on track three. Now if you said tracks 3,4 and 5 off of Avocado, I might take you more seriously

well this waas just to driving. if i really want to pick a best trilogy. it would be last exit spin the black circle and not for you but those are darker songs. but if i have to do yield i think the first three is a really amazing trilogy too. but i will give you 3,4,5 on ST. long story short pearl jam is amazing
