Yield is a hallowed ground and should always be talked about but I am happy to report that I find many similarities in L-Bolt as I drive around everyday for work and have been playing LB every day since its release and finding similar Yield like feelings emanating from it.

    I agree with this.

Yield was the album that hooked me. I was a bigger Soundgarden fan before Yield

Yield was the first album I purchased just as it came out, having discovered Pearl Jam a while after No Code was released.  I always considered it as an early birthday gift (my birthday is Feb 4th) and for that alone it has always held a special place in my heart. Plus, it is amazing.  I even own a Yield sign.

I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream...
If I knew where it was I would take you there.

Yield is great. I mean, the four previous albums were all far superior to it, but no album after Yield has been as good as Yield.....for whatever that's worth.

    This -
"Yield is the album that I believe to be the pinnacle of Pearl Jams talents and abilities as songwriters. Each and every song conveys a serious message (a familiar policy to Pearl Jams music), while reaching ever deeper into remotely untapped emotions, the likes of which grunge-rockers wouldnt have dared to tamper with only a few years earlier. Yield is a reservoir of unique, creative, and musically advantageous ideas. In this reviewers humble opinion, Pearl Jam have neither reached this level of overall depth and maturity on any of their releases subsequent to Yield, nor will they in the future. It was the bridging point in their career. The point where Pearl Jam ceased to just be another product of the Seattle Explosion and became the molding caste for the legends they were to become. Yield is their masterpiece; its as simple as that. "

I bought this album when it came out and feel its, their best. My trilogy is given to fly, in hiding, and faithful. Always felt these went together. Just something really special for me with the encore wishlist. Entire album great from start to finish, made me a Pearl Jam fan. ❤❤❤

Epic album. Must’ve been back in 99 or 00 up in northern wisc on vaca and all we had was tape player in the car. We were PJ heads back then and totally familiar with their catalog, just didn’t have any of their tapes. Was looking for new tunes at a weird old grocery store “music tape section” and what do I find? Flippin’ Yield. We buy it and it becomes soundtrack for the week. Great times.

and to catch it live in Milwaukee front to back 15 years after. Shiiiittttt......
