    QB search is going GREAT, thanks for asking - we have a possible franchise QB in Tannehill (too early, but looks great so far) and we have Matty Moore coming back (won all 6 games last year). David Garrard has a bum knee that was just scoped, could hurt his chances, but by all accounts he has looked good. Like Chad Johnson, rumors are he is struggling picking up the playbook.
    Speaking of "how's the QB search going" - are you happy with the $59 Amish rifle? Is the sloppy Miami seconds of Tyler Thigpen working out for you? How about that Vince Young guy? :lol:

    It is amazing to me the media and even player backlash at the decision to release Chad. Really? This was not an isolated incident. Stupid "tweets", foul- mouthed press conference, then the arrest and negativity it brought to the franchise, a franchise that every player knows is being taped like Nixon's oval office!
    Plain and simple - If he had been able to run correct routes and get open he’s still on the team today (I believe that). Proof: the scene in the QB room where they’re all scratching their heads at some of the defensive reads Chad was making - seems like the same "lack of knowing the plays" bug that hit him in NE stayed with him in MIA.
    I also found Philbin's tapping of his fingers less a nervous gesture and more of a "can't wait for this to end" type thing - anyone else?

    Anyway, I'm not sure why you're laughing at the QB "search" because they're not searching for anybody. They got Tannehill. He may be good, he may suck, but at least he's a rookie who's playing on a 22 million dollar contract and he's considered a "project." You guys made RYAN FITZPATRICK the highest paid player in Buffalo Bills history on the basis of a couple good games. Talk about a moronic, near-sighted decision. For the sake of comparison, Aaron Rodgers won a Super Bowl and regular season MVP award, and Green Bay still hasn't given him an extension (though it will be enormous when he gets it). I'll take our QB "search" over $24 million GUARANTEED to someone as unproven as Fitzpatrick. Have fun with that.

    And now for a low-brow comment: I've been up to Buffalo to see 5 Dolphins/Bills games....and that place is a cesspool of ugliness. And I'm not talking about the run-down, disgusting Ralph Wilson stadium. I'm talking about the trashy looking people that fill their stands. The girls look like guys and the guys look like Joker's henchmen in the Dark Knight.

    But PJFAN13, don't hang your hat on the Fish's two Super Bowl titles. That was 40 years ago.

    The Super Bowls were a lifetime ago - for sure - (I'll be 40 in Nov) - but the Hall of Fame, the record books and the beautiful trophy case in Davie & Miami Gardens contain 2 Lombardi trophies - nonetheless - 2 more trophies then our friends in Buffalo have. I won't hang my hat on it - in fact I'm feeling like those old Boston Red Soxians who wanted "just one before I die" - but I will remain proud of them.

    I LOVED the Jim Turner addition to this team when it was announced, and he was cracking me up with the chalkboard and the comments about the down faces and how the desks rose 6" when the 'Call Me Maybe' cheerleading video was played - hilarious!!

    I also LOVED Mike Sherman's exchange with Clay & Egnew:

    Look I never said it was a Dolphins thread, but it is currently a Dolphins conversation. And you don't have to tell me ANYTHING about the Dolphins and the Super Bowl. If time-travel ever becomes a real thing, I'm gonna go back and tell my 9 year old self that the Dolphins will never ever make it to the Super Bowl so quit getting your hopes up. Nobody is as critical of the Dolphins or as embarrassed by them as I am. Did you know they haven't made it to the AFC Title Game since 1992? They're one of like a half-dozen teams that haven't been to the conference title game in the last 20 years.
