Well, I started thinking about that, but my buddies I'm going with, and I decided to do Tulsa cause I really want to see this show. Quadrophenia is a great album, so we just caved in. I'm gonna fly to Dallas, crash on my friends couch, then Thurs we will Drive the 5 hrs to Tulsa, get a hotel, and drive back Friday. I'll fly back to Houston sat or sun. Nice little road trip. I was surprised they did this. I thought the who was done cause of Pete's hearing loss being so bad, and Roger did those 2 solo tours in the last 2 or 3 years.PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14

I have a feeling I'll go to Tulsa but I don't know if I'll try to make any other shows until I see if something closer turns up. I'm in Ft. Worth so Tulsa isn't too bad a drive. If they add a Houston show, you may get to see them twice!red mos wrote:Well, I started thinking about that, but my buddies I'm going with, and I decided to do Tulsa cause I really want to see this show. I think they've held off touring more because Pete wanted to finish his book. There's been rumors of a Quad tour this year for quite a while. To say I'm excited is an understatement."The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -

Thank you! Got my Philly tix. Almost the same exact seats where I saw them in '06. Was hoping for better seats, but I'm in the building with PeteI've met Rob

That's right! I travel to NYC for work four times a year and I stay at the new Holiday Inn Express in Park Slope just down the street from the new Barclays Center. I can walk to the arena or take a quick one-stop ride on MTA from Union Street to Atlantic. This is going to be a fun night.United Center (Chicago): 8/24/09

I grabbed a $50.00 ticket just to get in the building. I'm satisfied; especially since this will be my first Who show.United Center (Chicago): 8/24/09

Well, I envy all of you with your ticket purchases. I still haven't decided which show to go to!
Maybe we can plan some meet ups along the way.
It's going to be a great tour!"The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -

Sorry but that is sort of funny considering this will be the least I've paid for a Who concert. The highest ticket price is $145. Nosebleeds are about $50. Compared to Neil Young @ $275 or over $100 for nosebleeds, or Peter Gabriel @ $189 or $75 for nosebleeds, I'd say The Who price point is pretty good. I mean Pearl Jam is now $90 or more a ticket, and thats every seat in the house including nosebleeds. If Pearl Jam stopped charging one price for every seat, and reduced the nosebleed price to about $50 the front half of the venue would be about $135 or more. Pretty much in line with what The Who is charging this time around.

Scored a pair of nosebleeds today for a little over a $100. Now just have to wait until Feb 2013 for the show. Oh well, I guess the PJ Montana show and a couple Eddie shows in Novemeber will help pass the time
