I am fine with criticizing the Yankees. Their inability to develop pitchers has been completely unacceptable. The Arod contract is unacceptable, but was at a weird time. The Soriano contract was unacceptable. Along with the other things I mentioned the other day. On the field criticisms, their average with runners in scoring position for a while was unacceptable but I was confident they would get back to their mean. Their starting pitching performance at the beginning of the year was unacceptable but got back to their mean, or better aside from CC. And I'll agree about one player. I hate the kind of batter that Tex has become. All that is fine.

Talking shit about a team because they hit baseballs very hard is idiotic, especially when that team has a big lead in the division. I am really not getting into it with you again. I think you know nothing about baseball. That's all and I'm not going to entertain your nonsense and keep this crap going. Call me a dick or whatever you want. It's far from nonsense. It's 2010 and 2011 all over again. And I love how when someone disagrees with you, you pretty much always go to a generic statement about the person not knowing anything about baseball. Perhaps I should go back through the thread and quote all of the stuff you have been dead wrong about.

Or 2009 all over again. Aside from the walk offs, the turnaround has be eerily similar. All about getting there and getting hot. You have yet to dispute that.

Go for it. Hughes and possibly Pineda for starters. And man, I always wanted Burnett to do well. Probably the worst pitcher the Yankees have had the I have pulled for so much. I'm fine with what I am wrong about.

Edit: And there are 3 people on this board who's baseball opinion I don't respect. I think you can figure that out for yourself. Even if I don't agree with other people, I respect their opinion.

Well, I think there is a difference between a good contract and him helping the team. He has certainly been huge for the Yankees this year and they definitely wouldn't be in first without him but I don't think that justifies giving a set up man $45 million.

well it doesn't matter to me, the Yanks make money every time the toilet flushes, but his song is worth the price alone.
