    i stayed on market street for the 09 shows....downtown is pretty dead, but i felt safe walking from the orange line to my hotel. the parkway is just up the street a little further from where i stayed.

    If you thought downtown was dead in 09 it'll be a downright ghost town Labor Day weekend. The city is pretty much empty that weekend with everyone heading down the Jersey shore for the long weekend.
