No interest...even though its so close. Not going to waste a day sitting thru other acts just to see PJ perform for an hour and a half. Not worth it. I'll hold out for the regular shows and hit some of the STP tour.
I'm with you. And I don't want to give my money to Jay Z. :nono:

Jay Z has more talent than most of the popular "rock" bands out today.

Is PJ playing both nights? I read Jay Z was closing both nights last week. I can't believe they'd be a warm up act for jay Z.

Jay Z said at the announcement that he is only doing one night. I read rumors that he is doign Saturday night, but I have a hard time believing that.

I would guess PJ headlines night 1 and Jay Z headlines night 2 if these reports are accurate.

    That's what I was thinking.

1000% true. I like maybe 4 or 5 rap acts and he is a cold blooded killer live. I'd rather see acts at the top of their genre than some throwaway rock act. News flash for some people out there... To say these other artists are awful and a waste of time makes you sound like a fool.

PJ isn't the only good concert out there. I hated Kanye until I saw him unwillingly at Virgin Music fest. And love him or hate him... That man can put on a hell of a show.

Big time. I remember when he was announced for Glastonbury a few years back and the usual Glasto crowd said it was a terrible decision. He owned the crowd the night he played. I watched it on tv and he was fucking amazing, wishing I was there. Would love to see him live

To the tune of Jay-Z's "BIG PIMPIN":

We be, big pimpin, spendin G's
We be, big pimpin, on B.L.A.D.'s
We be, big pimpin down in P.A.T.
It's just that Jigga Man, Facemelter, and Eddie V...
Cause we be, big pimpin, spendin G's
We in a world where Pearl Jams be hangin w/ Jay Z's
Cause we be, big pimpin away from NYC
It's just that Jigga Man and PJ have the GREEN DISEASE

Personally, as a fan of JAY-Z, this would be unbelievable. As far as Drake and the rest of that lineup, gimme a break

Here's where I disagree. I can't see how he's "talented" as a rapper. As a producer and a businessman, yes he's great. But rhyming some words and talking about how you're spending your fans' money? No thanks. While I can appreciate rap for pure entertainment value, I can't find the talent in it. And don't eeeeeeven get me started on Kanye. Instead of his jaw being wired shut, his entire mouth should have been....and his vocal chords removed. Just my opinion. Werd.

love people complaining about the lineup that hasn't been announced yet and no one really knows who else is on it.

and Jay-Z and PJ will be seperate nights so no need to have to listen to Jay-Z if choose not to.

Greed people, may I introduce your foot to your mouth?

Jay-Z's "Made Is America" festival is rumored to include a superstar lineup of over 28 artists who are all leaders of their respective genres.

LIST: 10 Artists We Want To Perform At Jay-Z's Made In America Festival

The two-day concert series will be held September 1-2 held at Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.

Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the greater area of Philadelphia's United Way.

Wait for the official announcement, then other dates to follow.

Poets generally have meaning in what they write. Rappers, in general, rap about spending money on cars, bling, ho's, going to the club, etc. There are a select few rappers where I can say I see talent (Zack de la Rocha, Busta Rhymes, some Tupac, Chuck D, Beasties). But for the most part, today's rappers are ridiculous.
